Changes

I can see a look in your eyes
That wasn't there before
I don't recognize is at all
And you're changing more and more

You have seemed to grow up
Right before my eyes
You're such a changed person
I just can't realize

Believe me when I say
That I do miss you
Suprisingly enough
My heart's still broken in two

I know that you are happy
I just can't believe it's so
But I know I have to move on
It's just something that I know

Maybe "friends" is best
At the thought, I bite my tongue
My mind's just one big mess
And the thoughts just come undone

I remember the way it used to be
I'm singular now, no longer a "we"

Now, please don't get me wrong
I'm happy that you are
But I guess I'm just jealous
And my mind's just gone too far

Changes keep occuring

She's tired of feeling insecure

So many fears are gathering
The silence is so deafening
They crowd round inside her head
They multiply and start to spread

The tears keep pouring, splashing down
Wonders how many she needs to drown
Lacking the confidence she should own
In a crowded room she feels alone

She feels that all she has is him
The one who knows her best within
The one she's marrying who loves her so
The man who gives her back her glow

My deepest fear is losing you
I need you now to help me through
I need you to hold me in the dark

Dirty Blood please

Dirty Blood

I have blood and dirt
Caked in my hair
And all you can do
Is stand in front of me and stare.

I had no choice!
I did it for you
This way, between us,
You'll never have to choose.

Smeared across my face,
Speckles of blood
And on my hands and knees,
Clumps of dried mud.

There was a battle, a struggle,
A fight to the death.
I held her face down in the mud
Until I knew it was her last breath.

I won the fight,
The battle for your heart.
I did it so you and I
Never have to part.

Can't you see?
I did this for us.
Why do you look at me like that?
What's the big fuss?

I did this for your love
Why can't you understand?
I did it so you
Can be my man.

She was just an obstacle
In the way of out life.
But now she's gone

Troubled Water

Down goes the kingly beast
who we have failed to save
our endless love of technology
sent him to his watery grave

we putt around in our cars
letting our pollution fill the skies
the puzzled polar bear looks all around
watching the waters of his kingdom rise

He doesn't understand about the ozone
or about us using a car
he just knows his land is melting
and the next ones just too far

The troubled waters keep on rising
All the prey on his ice patch gone
so the polar king swims for another
futilely swimming on and on

We say "there are still many bears left"
and "polar bears swim great"
but slowly they are dying
the troubled waters seal their fate

Im really sorry i dont know who went first, whether i pm'd the postleader first to reserve troubled waters or if you requested it here first. im sorry if it turns out that you requested it first ill delete my post. sorry again.

You both did it one the same day, i think you should leave your post in here and ill judge it anyways ok. Both of you can have the titl then that is fair if thats ok with you both?

My Sweet Prince

Lipstick scrawled along the wall,
"My gentle prince, you are the only."
Pink smudges mixed with alcohol,
But you my dear, you are the phony,

Grant me this last breath,
And forever we will stay,
Me and my valuable friend,
Can't fix all the pain away,

Higher in the psychologic,
A distance from the Earth,
Take my hand and together,
We will begin re-birth,

'My Sweet Prince, you are the one.'
'You are the one.'
'You are the one.'
'My Sweet Prince.'

Any placebo fans would notice what this is about

Ashamed of the Truth

She stares out the window, to a desolate sun rise,
And the tears cloud her sky blues, as she sighs:
"Twenty long years ago, we said our vows aloud,
And I kept my composure, in front of that silent crowd -

So why, now; here alone on our old double bed,
Do these words seem to be stuck inside my head?"
And she stares to a girl that she hates to know,
Inside that mirror, her hair tied up in a little white bow -

And she etches the life lines beside her blue eyes,
Bittersweet stories coated with a twist of petty lies,
But as she falls to her knees, she holds her heart and says:
"I may be ashamed of the truth, but I'm not giving up yet."

Role Model

She's beautiful and glamorous
Filled with fortune and fame
Everyone wants to be her
Everyone knows her name

She's on magazine covers
In movies all of us see.
She's also the same girl
Caught in scandals and schemes.

She's can barely remember
About the night before
The hangover hurts so bad
Like the cold, hard bathroom floor.

The drugs are wearing off
But her eyes are still so red.
And she doesn't know yet,
But there's a man in her own bed.

Her therapist's on speed dial
But it doesn't help anyway.
She talks and talks about changing,
But she stays the same.

Rehab isn't any better.
A few promises, and she's out
To face the world she can't handle
And fill up again with self-doubt.

The paparazzi is right there
To advertise her every mistake.
But she'll go and deny them
And continue being a fake.

So she keeps making films
Being on the big movie screen.
Just think, this is the role model
For your own young teen.

only in a dream.

Orange crush soda,
filled with sweetness.

Yellow daisies for miles,
the beauty that each
glorious flower does hold,

Green grass upon soil,
that pushes it to grow.
Just as you do with me,
how I wish it were reality.

Blue jays in my window sill
singing that sweet song.
Just as your voice sings,
every time the telephone rings.

Indigo bedspread keeping me safe,
of which I cuddle each and every night.
How I wish it were you,
if only it were true.

Violet lilacs growing on that bush,
filling the air with a sensational aroma.
Just as a smile from you,
if only it were true.

The end of the rainbow,
only comes once in awhile.
It's now becoming reality,
together, just you and me.
