My friend ODs on pills for happiness...

My friends parents mite be getting a divorce..and if they do she'll be moving away. And shes always complaining tht shes too fat and im always saying "No way, youre NOT fat."
An she told me tht she usually takes motrin when she doesnt need to......and usually she takes more then shes supposedto but shes been trying to break tht habit. But now im really worried, becuz she said yesterday she really wanted more motrin (just to feel happy) so she took something else more then needed and almost toke priscription pills. But she didnt. Then she woke up this morning all tired...and almost feel down the stairs....her body was so drowsy and she couldnt remember much. An shes been crying in the school bathrooms a lot lately cuz she doesnt want want shes doing to kill her but she cant stop. Im scared how can I help her?

Hey...been there. i used to be a druggy...in fact when i get angry i still down pills. you have to be a really good friend and just help her. tell her that she's a good friend, a good person, and that pills won't make her happy...because they won't. explain to her that her parents isn't her fault, thats she's not to blame, that no matter you guys will be friends. explain to her how much you will miss her if she goes and does something stupid liking taking a bunch of pills...but most of all try and help her get help. she won't be able to do it on her own.
