What do you do when?

Well, lets start with there is this guy and we have been friends for awhile now. i thought i could tell him everything and trust him. its not that fact that i cant trust him. he hasnt told anyone anything i have said to him. but he likes me and everytime i mention anything about previous boyfriends or who i like he gets jealous. and thats when he gets really defensive and says hurtful things. we fight way too much to be a couple and plust i could never think of him like that. i dont think that would be fair to him if we dated. would it? but we went to the movies the other night and he put his arm around me and i felt to uncomfortable. so i asked him nicely not to put his arm around me. and he got all defensive about it. he was all like oh your ex (not using names) can touch you everywhere and he was good enough to give yourself to but i cant even put my arm around you. it really burned my heart you know it really hurt. i mean i tried to get comfortable but it just didnt work. i try my best to be nice and not hurt him but nothing seems to work. no matter what i say he gets mad and we fight. i like him as a friend and i like to hang out with him but i just dont think it would ever work for us.

AWWW!!! Im so sorry. That is horrible. All my guy friends put their arms around me. Are you just self-consious or do you just like your space around him. OR DO YOU DOWN RITE JUST NOT TRUST HIM.

he sounds like a pushy loving type guy... Is this true I have tripped for a guy like this, Its worthless and you should seriously just say what you think is right. He might get defensive and all but the truth is better than lies and no matter what your being yourself.

I trust him and everything but i just like my space around him. it just feels so weird with him putting his arm around me because he likes me but i dont like him like that.
