Razorblade Kiss

Cut to the bone,
Drowning in rage,
Feel like an animal,
Trapped in a cage.

Brutality spreading,
World turning vicious,

When feeling ambitious.

Gone With the Sin

Out of sight, out of mind;
You were the sin that ruled my life.
Leaving me shattered, completely alone;
From your eyes pure evil was shown.

Kicking me down every chance you received,
Your constant lies I always believed.
That horrid repulsion, etched into your face,
Always feeling you had to put me in place.

I was not your enemy, nor was I your possession;
Bullying me was no cure for your depression.
So I gathered the strength, gathered the power
And kicked you out, all bitter and sour.

Gone with the sin, that ruled my life:
No longer do I face such cruelness, such strife.
I no longer face such love that was blind;
Out of sight, out of mind.

The funeral of hearts

The black coats the crowd, like a moth to a flame,
And there's a schoolboy shuddering, looking for someone to blame.
There's a mass of people gathering, with the agenda hidden,
But here comes the awaited, and the black horses ridden.

So march on, don't step out of line,
Follow the beat, but don't get out of time.
Sing the hymns, with your dreary monotony,
But the personality changes, undergoing lobotomy.

Throw the flowers, and see them tidily scattered,
Notice the thinning faces, and the individuality battered.
But the greying graves, ring their destiny's call,
The spring shoots, they show the stupidity of it all.

And the coffin advances, strolling to the tune of tears,
But the progression shows the idiocy of fears.
And as the succession proceeds, the remains depart,
The horde prepares to say goodbye as they bury their hearts.

A Kyrielle is a French form of rhyming poetry written in quatrains (a stanza consisting of 4 lines),
and each quatrain contains a repeating line or phrase as a refrain (usually appearing as the last

to the amount of stanzas a Kyrielle may have, but three is considered the accepted minimum.

Lose You Tonight

Catastrophic devastation in my blood,
As i continue to fight.
Bees not butterflies in my stomach,
If i were to lose you tonight.

Air disappearing from radar,
No oxygen at all in sight.
But instead of gasping I'm grasping,

A blanket of love, keeps me warm,

The Terzanelle is a poetry type which is a combination of the villanelle and the terza rima forms. It is a 19-line poem consisting of five interlocking triplets/tercets plus a concluding quatrain in which the first and third lines of the first triplet appear as refrains. The middle line of each triplet is repeated, reappearing as the last line of the succeeding triplet with the exception of the center line of the next-to-the-last stanza which appears in the quatrain.

[Hidden meaning - A boy she thought she was destined to be with does her wrong in so many different ways following the words of his friends so she walks away from him in the "wedding dress" which is actually just their relationship because they were supposedly destined to be with; may be confusing, I know.]

I wanna try Drunk on Shadows.

I got a good start on the poem and I thought that's a good title for it so why not just reserve it. I knwo the deadline is tomorrow so I'll get it in today.

Drunk On Shadows

I'm drunk on shadows,
No where to go,
So many faces,
All hidden in one.

I try to tell myself,
It'll be okay in the morning,
But time ticks by so long and slow,
Feels like its never going to come.

I'm afraid of the dark,
Afraid of what it will hold,
I've seen the monster,
Hiding in it so many times.

When I fear the most,
It always seems to know,
Nothing leaves the thought,
Of knowing he's watching.

I'm scared for my life,
And everything is not okay,
It's three in the morning,
And I'm drunk on shadows.

He says he won't hurt me,
But I know the games he plays,
He says he just wants to comfort me,
But it's just another excuse to hurt me.

I'm afraid of the words he'll say,
When they ask what's wrong,
"Just a little screwed up girl,
Who abuses herself to get attention."

And time and time again,
They'll believe his lies,
But what will they say,
When he takes it to far.

Killing me inside,
Is what he's doing,
Ended up with a little baby girl,
And a pond full of names and lies.

I've been drunk on shadows,
For months on end,
Still waiting,
For that morning to come.
