Yay for history!!!..
For me, it's more European & Asian history.
A bit of the Egyptian history as well..

Egyptians ROCK. Meh. But I guess I'd say that because I am one. I personally LOVE Russia and Germany's history and it's effect on international relations. Very interesting indeed :).

Haha, I got sick of Russian history. I had a course based on the Russian revolutions during the early 20th century. Bolsheviks and Mensheviks. Gah, it was soooo boring!! I do enjoy German history though. Frederick the Great is my favourite historical person. I also thought Hitler was a good diplomat, though I didn't agree with his ideology.
I wrote poems about them both.. haha

Haha! I do not live in Egypt, Dari-boy :). Although I do have the blood running through my veins :D...somewhere down my bloodline, that is. Grandfather of a grandfather, I believe...

Anyway. Lol. Bolsheviks and Mensheviks is EXCELLENT stuff! Thing is, I thought Stalin was also a good dictator until I learnt of his brutal Purges. Lol. That was horrific.

Hitler was a pig, despite his achievements for the unemployed. But that's pretty much ALL he did that may be accounted as positive. His indoctrinating ways were crude and the fact he mounted blame upon defenceless Jews in Germany was callous. Well, we can't change history. But history certainly has changed us.

Hitler was a very smart man. His persuasive speeches were brilliant. If it was not for him, Germany would have crumbled under the Great Depression. Not to mention, there might have been other countries looking to split it among themselves. Yes, what he did was callous, but Stalin did far worst to his own people. He slaughtered millions more during his reign.

Hitler didn't hate Jews as much as he hated communists though, it was more of a Nazi idea than his own.

Lol, I could talk about history for hours.. *sigh*

Britt, book smart is something everyone can achieve, so you still have a shot.

I'm book smart because I read and study that stuff. There are people out there that are just naturally smart. I dislike them. They don't have to study and get amazing grades, and I work my butt off and come up average. *sigh*
