19 years agoLeanne, these are most likely the votes you received: a 5, a 4 and a 1. That would yield a 3.3 rating. If I were you I would simply consider the 1 as an aberration. Be assured, there is nothing at all wrong with your poem. It is consistent with the rest of your work.
Fwiw and not to be nitpicking, but it would have been more appropriate to post this topic on the Requests to read/comment poems or the Poetry Discussion sections
