SHOULD I KEEP WRITING ABOUT MY CHILD ABUSE HISTORY

I got word today that if I didn't stop writing about my abuse that there would be charges filed against me for making false statements. Should I continue to write or should I stop. I need advice please. thanks

Thanks and true,but there haven't been any names put in the poems at all,only step dad ,step mom, mom, and pop,and thats it, no names.

Well i dont think you should quit writing about abuse. Its a subject that no matter how terrible people may think it is - it does happen.
Now what? You got word thered be charges made for you... Never mind...

Never stop writing anything because someone else finds it uncomfortable. Your past is your past.

The real deal here is that they weren't even my legal step parents, no papers were ever filed as far as being adopted, I was just dropped out at these peoples house and that was it.

Dont ever stop writing.. this is how you get your feelings out right? If you never used any names then how are they going to prove that it is them your talking about? You could be just writing about it just because you want to. I mean not every poem people write about is about there past right?

Thanks all, but I did contact my lawyer and child abuse, they agreed to go back pull all my records from the doctors,school,and welfare department from when I was a child. Child abuse said that since there wasn't any papers filed with them giving them legal rights as step parents then I could now sue them for all the abuse , because as far as they are concerned I was on my own. And to feel free to write what ever I wanted to write about them. so thanks again, your friend Tracy
