Is he worth it?

Okay my ex bf Ty says that he's taken that everything I said to heart and tried his best to change himself and he seems happy with what he's changed about himself. I told him that he needs to stop with the gang sh**, and fighting and all that. Tyler doesn't lie bout things but he does get hot headed sometimes.

Last night he emailed me saying even though he's dating another girl he doesn't want to be with her, he wants to be with me now that he's dating another girl. He says that I'm really the only person who tried chaning him for the better of both everyone else and him also. I kinda keep thinkin bout him sometimes too. I tried dating other guys too but it just seems that all the things I've tried ain't working. I keep ending myself up in the same place still thinking if I should date him or not.

Is he worth it?

It's only been a short time since you've broken up with him - don't be too worried if the few dates you've gone on haven't been perfect. From what I remember about your other posts, you were really not happy in your relationship with Tyler - he made you feel like you didn't matter so much. Now, sure, he probably misses having you around. Perhaps he misses you because you seem like a good person... but then again, perhaps he misses you because you put up with his crap. Either way, he should be either bringing this up with his own girlfriend, or else dumping her, not investigating his other "options" behind her back. For your part, you're really going to need to give it time, I think. Let him prove that he's actually changed. If you tell him that you want to make sure of this, and he gets angry and acts like a jerk... then you'll know that he really hasn't changed. For both your sakes, I hope he has. Wish you the best!

Last time I tried to 'help' him change he just got all mad and blamed me for being too much of a complainer. I can't just have a guy that wants sex all the time (this is the part I HATE THE MOST!!!!)
