    ~*~*~*~ Always ~*~*~*~

Tears stream from a child's cheek
Daddy isn't coming home this week
    in Afghanistan, a roadside blast
took Daddy's life so very fast
You will always be my hero, Daddy ...

Never again will he hold me tight
read me stories and say good-night
wipe my tears when I scrape a knee
my daddy again, I will never see
You will always be my hero, Daddy ....

His life story my Mommy does tell
he served his country, served it well
    committed to setting other's free
little boys and girls just like me
You will always be my hero, Daddy ...

My Mommy cries but inside she's proud
for my Daddy did what he had vowed
to try his best and give his all
and return to Heaven if God should call
You will always be my hero, Daddy ...

Booming bass drum of the military band
pierced my heart as Mommy held my hand
then silence filled the afternoon skies
as we wiped our tears and said our good-byes
You will always be my hero, Daddy ...

May your Soul Rest in Peace
You will always be my hero, Daddy

Dedicated to Master Cpl. Allan Stewart of the Royal Canadian Dragoons and his family based in Petawawa Ontario Canada (1/2 hr from my home)

Died April 11th 2007 after his vehicle hit a roadside bomb 38 km west of Kandahar City

    by Nikki

    In these arms,
    I feel safe,
    in these arms,
I am in our special place,
    in these arms,
    I know I am loved,
    in these arms,
    your my beloved,
    in these arms,
    I know your mine,
    in these arms,
    heaven I find,
    in these arms,
    you keep me warm,
    in these arms,
I am sheltered from every storm,
    in these arms,
is where I want to stay,
    in these arms,
    never make me go away,
    in these arms,
    I feel so complete,
    in these arms,
I know you will never mistreat,
    in these arms,
    I have a life,
    in these arms,
there is no such thing a strife,
    in these arms,
    I will forever be,
    in these arms,

Oh I'm sorry DixieDaisy, my bad. I will let Espoir*failed know that it has already been reserved.

And Sheena, I went ahead and reserved you for You Give Love A Bad Name as well, and I will keep you on Bed Medicine since a person can do two, just let me know if/when you want me to take you off of either.

Six, three, four, five, seven, eight, nine.
How many people will die this time?
Will death be upon us, year after year,
Leaving nothing but broken, forgotten tears?

Six, three, four, five, seven, eight, nine.
When will people stop crossing that line?
When will the violence, the torture, subside,
And each human-being will stand side by side?

    Six, three, four, five, seven, eight, nine;
Their just random figures in Death's horrid line.
Maybe you know one, who was pulled away,
Due to the evilness inside our world today.

Six, three, four, five, seven, eight, nine:
Each little figure is a person lost in time.
Help to stop the torture, help to stop the pain
And let the departed know, their death was not in vain.

    Bed of Roses

    I cry unto thee
    Dost thou hunger linger deep

    Aye! Doth thy hunger pit
    Twisting, writhing with each fit!

    Hast thou a need
    Quenched not a ravenous steed

Thy nectar upon thee sourest lip
    Sweetened by the merest sip

Art thine self for ye enough
Upon bed of roses if giveth thine love

Yae! Withal thorns tear ye mine heart
Thy sweetest love shalt never depart

    Never Say Goodbye [Triquatrain]

The tear in your heart wishes you wouldn't¢??t start
    This nonsense all over again
Because it just can¢??t take it, it¢??s a big mistake.
    Goodbyes are always the end.

Hold your head up high as you yell to the sky
    That you¢??re finally over him.
What a waste of time, leading with your mind
Is better than committing the sin.

Keep your head in the game or you¢??ll go insane
Trying to keep it all bottled up tight.
You know what to do, and yes, it involves you
No matter if it¢??s wrong or right.

Stop hurting her heart, she needs a fresh start
A release from the pain she hides.
You don¢??t know what¢??s hidden, the memories, forbidden
As a result of your useless chides.

Hurt her you did, when you began to forbid
    Her seeing any other guy
But that¢??s why you¢??re gone at the break of dawn
    Never Say Goodbye
