I am sure you all have visited Yahoo.com...And seen the clip.

For those who do not know:

A new museum has opened, speaking only of creationism, and denying "Darwin's theory of Evolution". They also say that Dinosaurs were in Noah's Ark.

So what is your opinion on this....

It must have been a very big Ark, and a particularly violent one.

Where is this "museum"? In America obviously, but where about?

    Hee hee hee heee

What's the point even billing it as a scientific musem? Let the belief be literary, cultural, religious... but science and ark-cruising plesseosaurs aren't too cozy.

(I probably should not bash the Creationists, though. I am one of sorts, after all : D )

I believe, personally, that creationism and darwin's theory of evolution are NOT mutually exclusive. What's the big deal? I think it's stupid to have a museum about one but not the other in EITHER case. I don't think there should be any place that rejects either of these ideas if it claims to be a place that educates.

That is considering that both theories (in NOT being mutually exclusive or even if you think they are) can both hold enough water.

Ha me too...and I'd turn up with my hair slicked to the side and one of my nice tank tops...and I'd let them believe I was a believer...get the whole show you know..really let them open up and give it to me.

And then I'd rip my clothes off to reveal my Darwin rules body art.

Haha, Kevin, I just read this thread and burst out laughing at "It must have been a very big Ark, and a particularly violent one."
    Too true. Haha.

I have heard this theory before. I went to a school which taught evolution, and personally find the whole creationism thing kinda... out there.
But, to people from "way back when" who only knew religion, and had no scientific theories to speak of, I suppose it makes sense.
Logically, if some of the animals were saved, but the majority drowned, well, then their bones must have been left somewhere. And fossils, well, there you go. It just MAKES SENSE, that way.
Hah, but still. As a civilization we've certainly progressed from then. By now, I find it hard to believe that there is a museum supporting this type of thing, which is rather crazy. Although, remembering equal rights/equal opportunities, I suppose it is only fair that both theories be represented. No matter how much people disagree with one or the other.
