    01. RESERVE and COMPLETE by deadline.
    02. More than 4 lines, less than 32.
    03. Preferrably rhyming.
    04. Take your time editing it, I'm very picky.
    05. One per title, three per person - if all qualify you will than take two in the next round.
    06. If a style, explain it after the poem.
    07. NO cutting/suicide poems!
    08. Deadline: June 14, depending.
    09. If you want to change the title, ask me first.
    10. New, but if you have an older one with the same title - reserve first and than submit.
    11. Sometimes I'll miss something or I won't update for awhile, so make sure to check what other people are reserving as well; it only takes a few seconds.
    12. Have fun! =]

    The Last Time

    The last time I held your hand
    I felt so close to home
    I knew you would always be there
    And never leave me alone

    The last time that I kissed you
    I felt the electric shock
    It was just like the first time
    That must be Destiny's knock

    The last time that I saw you
    You were walking away
    I was gonna miss you so much
    And miss our fateful day

    The last time I talked to you
    You "interrupted" me
    With your tainted lips
    That pucker contagiously

    The last time you tickled me
    I didn't want it to end
    First you were an acquaintance
    Now the best boyfriend

    The last time I said I love you
    I meant it with all my heart
    This week is gonna kill me
    For how long we'll be apart

    The last time I was wrapped
    Around your sweater so tight
    I believed in all my heart
    That this is what was right

    The last time I wrote a poem
    And typed it up for you
    It was for just two things
    That I will miss and love you

    I had to cut out half of it because it was longer than the 32 line max. lol :P

    When you get to me.

    Oh, heaven awaits so patiently, sitting calm and still.
    Trees sway from side to side, the million on that hill.
    Beautiful surroundings fill each wondrous mind,
    leaving all emotions so completely far behind.

    As our minds fill with peace, our bodies slowly ease.
    The memories we once had never seem to cease.
    Only peaceful thoughts run through my mind,
    leaving all emotions so completely far behind.

    Just as heaven, I sit and I await for the day,
    my lover comes from oceans so far away.
    But, until that day I cease my lonely, weary mind,
    for, when you get me there'll be nothing to hide behind.

    Nothing But A Child

    Everything starts like a fairy tale;
    With a craziness you submit yourself with lust.
    You cannot think that time you are just,
    Nothing but a child.

    After a time hours wouldn't be enough;
    You get eager to share all your times.
    To be both like sometimes,
    Nothing but a child.

    But marriage wasn't just like it seems;
    He always acted like he is the boss.
    Then I thought the only solution was,
    Nothing but a child.

    Finally my son was born like a miracle;
    So similar he was with his dad.
    I didn't know that afterwards I had,
    Nothing but a child.

    Just shocked when I learned a car killed him;
    So tired for years I felt without him no pith.
    He just left me all alone with,
    Nothing but a child.

    ------------------------------------------------------------
    Dedicated to all the mothers that gave their husbands to death

    He Oughta Know That By Now

    A few thousand hidden smiles
    Have withered into frowns
    After floating up to cloud nine
    I'm finally falling down.

    Twinkles bright in my eyes
    Are faded spots of dust.
    What I thought was love and passion
    I realize now was lust.

    Secrets that I used to keep
    Don't mean anything at all.
    Pictures I worked hard to get
    Seem so petty and small.

    Hours I spent wondering
    What that look had meant,
    Are thought of as wasted time
    That could be better spent.

    Outfits I wore to impress
    Don't have the same appeal.
    Emotions he could penetrate,
    I rarely ever feel.

    He couldn't see my love then
    But found out along the way.
    It took enough of my life
    For those feelings to stray.

    People change and so have I.
    I got over him somehow.
    Enough time has passed so,
    He oughta know that by now.

    Twenty Years and Two Husbands Ago
    by SecludedSerendipity

    She sat peacefully in her old rocking chair,
    Staring deeply into her son's blue eyes,
    Finally opening up a window to her past,
    Something of which she constantly disguised.

    He was kneeling beside her fragile frame,
    One hand of hers in his very own,
    Wanting her to know how deeply he loved her,
    From each little hair, to every delicate bone.

    "You can tell me absolutely anything,
    I promise you I'll not be surprised.
    Please Mother, do not be afraid,
    It's all right for me to see your cries."

    She smiled wide and a tear fell from her eye,
    Feeling ready for her son to know,
    So she worked up the courage, began to speak:
    "Twenty years and two husbands ago-

    As the revelations escaped her mouth,
    A knew world to her son was shown;
    Something so shocking was finally let loose,
    Yet she had no idea that he'd already known.

    He knew about the man, that he'd called "Dad"
    And how by biological standards it was not to be,
    Yet although he knew all along about the truth,
    His life was not ruptured; he was usually happy.

    "It's okay, Mum," he started, "Don't be afraid,
    I've known my whole life what was true,
    It was so long ago, it no longer matters,
    We've got each other, and I love you."

    What I Miss About Heaven

    About the devil saying he misses Heaven, then realizes he preferred to betray and loves the little games he plays with humans.
    ``````````````````````````````````````
    The stars have forgotten my name,
    And I'm the one to blame;
    "I don't miss Heaven!" I've proclaimed;
    I hang my head in shame.
    I miss Heaven every day,
    Yet it is my fault that I strayed.
    ....I miss Heaven.
    ....I miss Heaven.
    And I regret it every day.
    The stars have forgotten my name,
    There's no one else to blame;
    I hide within the ember flames;
    Look at what I've became.
    I look at hope and pray the stars;
    When I strayed I went way too far.
    ....I look at hope.
    ....I look at hope.
    When I strayed I went way too far.
    The stars have forgotten my name,
    And I once cried with shame;
    But I look deep within the flames;
    I like these little games.
    You can't stop me -- my evil ways,
    I'll get you, my pretty, one day.
    ....You can't stop me.
    ....You can't stop me.
    I miss Heaven but choose Betray.
    ````````````````````````````````````````````
