Friends thoughts

See I just got a new boyfriend and I really like him. But there is this rumor going around that he has scabies but its not true. So my friends and my brother think that its true. And they tease me about it when I see them or they just talk about me behind my back. They are like at least you could only get herpes from your ex but now you can scabies. I dont know what to do. I am not going to break up with him just cuz they are going to make fun of me. He is cute and so my type. And he is really nice to me. So really what else matters. I am just not sure what to do about my friends.

Hun, if your friends are making fun of you or putting you down in any way....they aren't your friends at all! your brother will tease you cause thats what bros do, trust me i have 3 lol. Simply ignore they're comments. Its a shame they feel the need to talk about you and him like that, they're suppose to be your support and friends. Maybe find new friends...? Find friends that will treat you and your new bf with respect not down talk your every move! good luck =o].

Thanks, thats what i kind of thought about them not really being my friends if they talk me down like that and talk behind my back. i dont have to go get new friends i still have a few. but some of those friends doing this to me are the ones i was closest to. i told them last of things. i never thought they were judgemental people but turns out they are.

Who cares what others think? You like him. He likes you. No one else needs to be involved at all. And as previously stated, if your "friends" are making fun of you, they're not much of a friend.

Tell them all to go get stuffed and that you're not breaking up with him just because of a lame rumour.
