Winner Takes All (round 3)!!!

So this is the final round and it's for....

You guys did such an amazing job with your work. I am so happy you guys entered, you are both very talented! :) So here's the final round.

All you have to do is write a poem with this title:
"Sadened Sky"...it can really be about anything, love, death, etc. And can have any mood. But there are a few rules.

RULES:
1-No profanity
2-No cutting poems or things that are too dark
3-Nothing explicit
4-Nothing religious

You have until June 16th but if you guys get them in early I'll do my best to judge it only a couple days there-after. And if you need an extention just ask. Have fun you guys!!! :) And congrats again! May the best poet win!

Saddened Sky

A saddened sky fell overhead
The clouds all dark and grey.
The sun knew better than to shine.
It wasn't that kind of day.

The flowers were too fresh and bright.
They seemed so out of place.
Where did happy things fit in
Among the headstone's space?

These people want to comfort me
By bringing up good times.
But all it's doing to my heart
Is recalling you to mind.

Heaven is in competition,
Raindrops verses tears.
I wish they would evaporate
And make me disappear.

I am taking it by minutes
But it's feeling more like hours.
As if it sensed my shear defeat
The saddened sky just showers.
