Yay sweet sixteen!!! I'm having a mardi gras party in a giant hotel... I invited a bunch of my friends! were gonna eat dinner, dance, play games, Im gonna belly dance with my sister, then all the girls are staying the night in the hotel. its gonna be so much fun!!!

Ooooh I do belly dancing!! ive been doing it for 3 and a half years now haha I love it, but purely for the costumes lol we have such cool costumes!!!

Yeah! when i first started doing it i absolutely hated it. it hurt so bad! and I love it now! ive been doing it since about the sixth grade so that would be... 5 years almost.

I'm the youngest in my class because I started doing it with my sorta adopted Grandma lol she kinda had no one left and she was suffering pretty bad and yeah she lived next door, so I used to go round and help her garden and mow and just do general stuff that she couldn't in her age but yeah I started taking her, we were just talking and she said she wanted to do something, the walls of her house are the same everyday and she wanted to have some fun, so thought of bellydancing and we joined the older ladies classes, 40+ haha so I'm the very youngest! and the teacher is only 26 too so thats good, we go 3 days a week for 2 hours hehe I really love it, all the elder ladies hug me and say 'And how is our little Lucy today hmm? met any more boys yet??' haha we are a family lol

Lol... i think i would be kinda embarrassed if they kept asking met any more boys yet?? especially because I am so shy around boys.

Lol noone could be embarrassed around these ladies lol its because everytime I went to the classes and someone would drop me off there, sometimes it was one of my friends and they would give him 20 questions haha but only if it was a guy, if it was a girl than they would just say thgere hello's lol but I dont do it with those ladies anymore, I just moved towns on the weekend so I need to find a place here that does it... I dont think there is though, its a very small town, limited things to do lol

Yeah... i only learned cuz my moms friend bought the videos. it was hilarious because they didnt know what they were doing and i just watched. then we would go home and i would practice in the mirror to make sure i was doing it right and i would get the moves.

Haha thats awesome!! we used to have some of the videos, I dont where they are now though because the whole DVD revolution came in and yeah... goodbye videos hmmm, maybe they are back in Townsville? lol I might check that out lol
