Well basically....I went to the doctors for a regular check up and all of a sudden the doctor starts asking me if I'm depressed and what not...I told him I was a little bit on and off (not the truth) it put me in a really uncomfortable position cause the doctor said my parents asked him to talk to me about it....what should I do???

I don't want special treatment or anything ahhh what should I do??

They just want to help you. Depression can be often times a mentally and even physically disabling sickness that needs treatment. If you even think you're suffering from depression, you need to talk to someone.

It's obvious that it's showing in you because your parents noticed, and they cared enough to contact a doctor.

*sigh* Believe me, I know that this is hard but if you go for to long with out at least talking to someone about this that can help you it will only get worse =( I finally got so bad and depressed that I couldn't hide it anymore and finally had to agree to go talk to someone =P He's actually really helped me cope with it and find ways to help myself =) I take natural stuff for it also that, although it doesn't make it go away like most med's, it makes it so I can handle the wild ups and downs better =) I know that its hard, but you really should let your parents and doctor know whats going now so they can make it at least a little better =) And the only reason people would give you the special treatment that you don't seem to want *which is good* is because they care about you and are worried about you =)
Message me if you need any more advice =) and i hope that things work out for you =)

This is your decision, think of what you want, think of the worst and best thing that could happen with your decision..take everyones advice, pick out the bits you need and throw the rest away. we are here to support you but you need to decide whats best for yourself xx

Dont be afraid to talk to your dctor ...anything you say to him .is strictly btween you and your doctor....they can force you o tak pills if you dont want to ...thats your choice an youv hoen to not take them ...but nyone that suffers depression should definatly alk to omeone because if you dont ..then it all gets bottle up inside of you and it makes things even harer ..rut me i know ..

Best thing to do is just talk, and another alternative if you don't want to talk, write everything down, and show them so you will get your message out that way.

Some anti-depressants are a bad idea, but they can make up for chemical problems in your brain n body that cause depression. i'd just be thoughtful, but don't refuse help.
