... when ur in love with the best friend, how can u ever find out if they love you the same way, or they just love you as a friend? i really think my best friend might be in love with me too, but wer both to scared to say!

I'm in love with my best friend and i dont know what to do, cause i'm afraid that she might not want to be my best friend again. So i'd rather have her as a best friend than nothing at all, we had also dated, we just broke up recently soo, i'm just scare to tell her. But I would just ask him too, cause thats what i'm thinking about tellin her.

But you have to keep in mind that it could possible turn the relationship awkward .

I say you talk to him about it.

Think of it this way: The worst possible thing that can happen is he doesn't like you back. Then things are awkward for a week or so, but after that you both will just move on and your friendship will go back to normal.

And you never know, he could like you back!

I say go for it. if he doesnt like you as more than a friend, just work really hard not to be awkward around him until things get back to normal. and how will you feel if you don't take a chance at love?

Yeah, I think you should talk to him about it. If you two have been friends for a long time though, he might not feel the same way. I mean, my best friend told me once that he was in love with me, but I didn't feel the same way because I've known him for such a long time and he felt like a brother to me. Ya'll (oh good God I've been in AR to long) just tell your friends how you feel. If they're worthy of the title 'best' friend then they won't hold it against you if they don't feel the same way. Besides they might even feel the same way. And any chance at love should be lept at as if it was the last piece of a really good German chocolate cake and you're super hungry!! :)

Wow ive been here and i know exactly how you feel .. when i fell inlove with my bestfriend i was in love with him for a year before i told him.... i had had a massave argument with my boyfriend at the time and i went to my bestmate for advice he told me to leave him...he told meHE loved me... even theres no real signs for this because besfriends are extremly close so dont read into anything cause it could just be that he luvs yah as a bestfriend...but not in all cased...im engaged to my bestfriend..i made the mistake of waiting and not telling and it did nothing but upset me if i could go back id just tell him... but you are risking making things awkward between the two of you ...but its a risk well worth taking in my opinion xx hoppe it works out

I understand wat u r going threw cuz i have the same problem. i'm in love with my bestfriend and it's hard to tell if he likes just as i friend or something more. the signs can miss lead u and sometimes can cause bad thouhgts and it's not good. so just follow wat your heart, mind and feelings tell u. maybe we can chat and find a solution to our problem. send me a message if u r interested!

Tell them you do. Tell them how you feel. They're your best friend for a reason. I did it. Of course it didn't end well for me. That's the thing about life. You HAVE to take risks.

I was in love with my best friend. And it sucked, we went out and I fell in love with him. But we broke up.

Concerning your discussion, here is my problem. I have this friend, which I like a lot and I think I'm falling for that guy! The thing is, he doesn't like me as much as I do. I don't know what I need to do to make him fall for me. Because he is always with me, we spend a lot of time together and last night, we had sex, but it wasn't the first time. Why does he want to have sex with me and spend time with me but he doesn't want to go out with me??? I don't get it. If he likes to be with me and he wants to have sex than what is the problem??? What is that thing I don't have??? I'm all confused. I want to be with him, but now, I think I should stop seeing him, because I'm getting hurted. If you have any advice please write me!!!
