thank you. but hear this out. i do not care if you cut yourselves to deal with your problems. i am just saying that it is an extremely stupid thing to do when there are hundreds of other ways to cope with problems. find a hobby. write stroies, poems, keep a journal.

Sorry all... but i have to agree with Lisa Marie. If you want to stop cutting, you definetely should try as hard as you can!! Some scars will never fade... and when you're older you may regret continuously cutting.

i agree, thats why i write instead, cutting is one of those things that you cant take back. but what do i know, i have no big problems

when i hurt my friend to the point she cut herself 6 times...i told her i was sorry and that night i couldnt help my self but cut 6 times for her cuts then 6 more for regret and then 6 more for being the reason... so 18 that time...each i have a huge scar from...

Like at a weekend I would porbably cut more times cause the cuts would have longer to heal before college starts

It also depends on how upset, annoyed I am.

Well im a cutter and i usually cut up my hole are sumthimes and sumtimes i only cut 4 or 5 around there so your not that far from me and im a heavy cutter

Why does it matter how many times you have cut? You just make people who cut for emotion look bad. Is it some kind of competition?

I didnt start this post for some sort of competition to see who does the most cuts that would be sick in my opnion to do that, in saying that it is some sort of competition its like your implying that Im proud of how many cuts I do or the fact that I cut because its not something that Im proud of at all, I was just curious to see how many cuts people do. And I certainly wasnt trying to make people who do it for emotionly reasons look bad because that would be me making myself look bad.... So Im sorry if I offended anyone by making this topic

Im here to ask people to please stop posting in this topic, I realize now that I shouldnt have started this topic, I guess I wasnt thinking at the time and if I could I'd delete it but I cant. There are people going on about this topic so I ask that you please just stop talking about it, I feel bad about starting it but its done and Ive apologized a couple of times for starting it and for if I offended anyone and I don’t know what else I can do to fix the problem so cant we just let it be, so again please just dont post in this topic so that it'll go off this page and we can hopefully forget about it

Ok wow...No offense but Im not sure everyone wants to know your life story....The topic was How many cuts?....Not tell everyone how long your cuts are, where you cut, the kind of scars you have and what you write etc! Lol dont mean to sound bitchy and I have nothing against people who cut but we didnt need to know ALL the details!

i have stoped cutting but i have at least 15 visable scars not to mention the ones that are in my mouth cuz i used to bite my cheeks instead of cut but yea.....ive used toothpicks( if you push really hard and move them back and forth really fast it hurts like hel and leaves really bad scars), a butterknife( yes it aqcctually works), mostly saftey pins( they dont jsut cut your skin all smooth and easy they tare it and it takes longer to get to the point where you bleed), oh and of corse sissors.

Its so pathetic! God not in a mean way but you sound like your SO obviously attention seeking. No one really wants to know ever single detail. Im sure loads of people have scars like that but they dont go around bragging about how "wiked" they are.

It's been 4 (I think) days since I cut, and I'm not sure why I stopped for the week because I usually cut almost every day. Anyways, when I first did it I did 3 on each wrist. Same with the second time except it was like 3 or 4. Now I only cut on my left arm, and it depends a lot on why I am cutting or how mad I am. And sometimes it depends on the knife. Have you ever notice some knifes just /won't/ cut? That pisses me off. I have to bleed or I'm not satisfied. On average though, I do at least 3 cuts each time. I've mostly just gotten deeper with my cuts, and I cut more often, not neccasarilly more cuts at a time. But of course now I do have /more/ cuts on my arms because I cut more often. Btw, where does everyone cut? Is there anyone here that cuts somewhere besides their arm(s)? J/w.

i used to do 1 or 3´2 but now i go mad and do like 20 each time, mostly on my legs and stomach coz peple never c my horrid fat legs n tummy only ma arms, i cut nearly evry day and av lots of scars. dont i sound pretty!(NOT!!!)

any where from 5 to 30 depending on how i feel and what im using and how deep i go

i gave up cutting. too hard to hide from people.

I think i might have gone a little ovaboard last time cos they were too deep and like 2 weeks later they wont heal.

well..... it does depend on hwo you feel.. sometiems 20... sometiems 2.... yah.... i cant believe poeple actually volontere to have this conversation liek i am... i mean the onli reason i am is because i dont no anyone on this site.... anyway yah.... and taking away sharp objects does nothing!! you could practically find anything! take a picuter off the wall use a nail take the paper clip of the nail you jsut got fidn a neetle from modern living in skool you cant get away

well. i'm kind of the same as you. at first, i was only doing it about once, once a month. and then slowly it got to 3 times almost every other day. but lately it's gotten so bad that i'm doing it about 50-80 times in one go. and a couple of weeks ago.....200 and something.

im like reasding all thsi stuff... i mean i was flipping out bc i did 26 and the most ive done since then was 10 but 200??? i rea that n the first thing i thought was god i wanna run away so i can get away with doing htat many bc the onli reason im not is bc of my family we're already screwed up and i feel bad wut doing taht wood do them all

honestly i dont put an effort into counting and doing it a certaint number of times...its more of a spontaniouse thing. it cant range from 1 to like 6 at one time. it depends on how bad things are at the time

Like most people said, how much I cut depends on how I feel, but its never less than 5 cuts at a time

i dont cut anymore i used to do it at least 4 times a day then it got worse n left horrible scars n i decided i didnt want to do it anymore....its hard but i feel alot betta now! sumtimes i still get the urge but i just try to take my mind off it!
