Worst things a Mother could do...

I say:

*Pick on you(on how you look etc)

*Pick up the phone and YELL " I NEED DA PHONE!" when talking to a new guy.

*Lecture about your room

*Ask too many questions about your personal life

*Check your room when you are not there

*Listen to you talk without you even knowing they are there.

but the worst thing a real mother could do, would probley go through a childs room. I mean as an adult I know why, but as an child its horrible lol

I would say, to put herself before you, i mean in that buying herself unnessersary items, when you don't even have the basic things like food.

Having just read Rosey P's post I have to add onto my comment from earlier. Yes Lyd you were right. The worst thing a woman can do to her daughter is what Rosey is doing to her own daughter.

Sierra -- I agree with you up to a point. But let's not gloss over any kind of abusive parent behavior just because there are other things that would rank higher on the scale of harmfulness. All these things are bad and should be recognized as such.

Sexual abuse by a family member is often accompanied by emotional and/or physical abuse. As far as a victim of sexual abuse running away from it, it is possible but it usually doesn't happen because the victim's options are usually very limited or non-existent. Kids are often intimidated into believing that eventually they will wind up back in the same place and be subject to even worse abuse. And kids that do become runaways frequently become vulnerable to the abuse of some other adult that they hook up with.

Lydia O- I agree with you, and yes there are worse things people could do but even the most simple things, like ignoring your child, can be painful, so I guess everything can stem from a really simple problem. Which maybe makes it the worst, because everything comes from it?.... let me know if this doesn't make sence and I'll try to explain myself properly.

When you're sitting in the hospital and you tried to kill yourself because you thought your life could get no worse...And you ask for someone that you care about just as much as family..Mind you the doctor says you ahve a 83% chance of dying...So you think well I kinda want to see her...And ya know what she says.You know how i feel about her. And you did this all to yourself. Then you might die you know that right. Then continues to tell you how stupid it was...Then actually brings inyour brothers and sisters and tell them what you have done...There 12,11 and 7. Then leaves you, because she says she can't stand to be around you while your friend is there...Yeah that was pretty shitty...Step mom mind you...Who I thought of as a mother since i was 6.

Maybe ignore you. My mum ignores me so much that i hardly noticed when she took off for 2 months.

Ohh or have your birth mother tell you that since you moved back home things have gotten much worse and you only create chaos and mayhem!
