"your last letter"
Days in school felt like eternity in slow motion, no matter how long I rest my head, the bell still ceases to ring. Minutes of aggravation and miniscule torment plagues me until the sounding of my own personal release. "FREEDOM!!" I yell, not giving a damn if the whole world heard, I, personally wanted everyone to shout with me. But dragging me back to realization, my closest friend utters the words "dude, It's only 5th period". I stayed frozen for a few moments, until breaking out with a heavy sigh "crap" I answered. But a smile came over me when I knew who was waiting for me after the day has ended. The bell had rung and I sit still on my desk, with a smile reaching from ear to ear as I gaze endlessly into nothing. The bell had rung again, schools out and my journey home was short. I gathered enough courage to walk over to the house of the girl I secretly loved for so long. We have been friends for years and yet... I never showed my true feelings to her. I knocked on her door (no answer), I knocked again and the door crept open. I made my way inside but found nothing, no rugs, no tv's, not even a stick of furniture found in her house. I became swept with confusion and pure frustration, "what?..the hell?" I said to myself. I made my way outside, I could see a figure at the foot of the doorstep "hey" she said. It was her, at that moment, I wanted to ask her a hundred questions. "where is all your stuff?", "What happened to everyone?". But the question I wanted to ask her most was "why are you looking at me like that?". "you know that my dad wanted to get that job promotion right?" she asked me. " yeah? what about it?" her dad was one of the hardest working men I've ever seen in my life. "he finally got it" she answered. "good for him!" I applauded. I tried to lighten the akward mood between us, but to no avial it failed... miserably. "shut up" she said, her tone grew serious. "he didn't just get that, he also got a new house." she murmered. "Great!, Where is it at and when can I see it!". "You can't" she said. "We've been relocated". "Well I kinda knew that!" I answered. "We're moving to Seattle" (I live in california)... I was left speechless, left in cold stance with my head hanging down. She talking some more, but I couldn't hear her
I'll be done soon, I promise. I have to do something very important first then I'll be back to do this later.
