Dumb Criminals

A Florida Panhandle couple is under arrest after notifying police Thursday that their home had been broken into and a quarter-pound stash of marijuana was stolen. They told police that they needed to get their weed back because they needed to sell it.

Police said the couple, aged 17 and 18, allowed the detectives to search their apartment. During the search investigators discovered several marijuana stems and drug paraphernalia items.

The two were taken to the Bay County Jail and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bob, that's a great story.

For anyone who enjoys stories about dumb crooks, there was an early Woody Allen movie called Take The Money And Run that is really a hoot. Imagine a criminal that would get sidetracked into a discussion with a bank employee over a spelling error in the robbery note!
