How much rhyme should you put in your poetry? if I try not to rhyme too much people are always telling me to rhyme more, so I do and then another person makes a comment on how I rhyme too much. whats the perfect amount?!! help.

However much you decide. You can't please everyone. Rhyme, don't rhyme... what ever you do, do intentionally.

Don't let someone tell that there is too little or too much ryhming.Sometimesryhmes just flow perfectly and sometimes they don't either way it is your poem. You have your own style of writing. And don't let anyone change that :))

I agree with you all. Many of my poems have rhymes, which shouldn't be a surprise, but I think for the most part they work well.

Theres no such thing as a certain ammount their are plenty of poems that are works of art that don't rhyme at all. It's your poem don't listen to others on whether they think it rhymes to much. The poem is a piece of your creative mind and is yours to cherish and change however you please.

Follow your gut, write to please yourself, not others.

If you want to mix rhyming and free verse together, before you write think about how you're going to create your own personal verse structure. I often do this, if you take the time to read "Clouded Sunset" from my poems you'll understand the kind of thing I mean. It's unorthodox and not everyone condones it, but it gives a personal touch that I wouldn't trade for all the four-lined stanzas in the world
