How can u tell someone that u love him/her without looking like

I'm in love with someone and i don't know what to do! it all started in 8th grade. at first i didn't pay attention to ny feelings but then as the days and weeks went by i started liking him. and at end of my freshmen year of High School i realized that i had fallen in love with him. i really want to tell hime but i don't want to lose our friendship and i don't want to look like a fool!! i don't knpw what to do i'm going crazy!! there is not one day that i don't think about him and it's hurts really bad knowing that i have him close and i can't have him! any advice?

Aye. That is my problem with girls. I can't tell them when I like them because I don't want to risk my friendship and then when I realise that I love her (Shelbie) I feel even more frightened to tell her. But the best thing is just to tell the person. For instance if you don't tell him then you may never get to be with him and you'll feel like hell because you'll feel like you are stupid for never asking. The best thing is just to leave some hints. If he doesn't catch on then you might have to just take the initiative and ask him out yourself. That's pretty much all you can do. But when you ask/tell him make sure to look him in the eyes, stand up straight, and keep your tone as even as possible. You might be brimming with insecurity or nervousness but you want to appear calm and confident. A gentle smile is a definate plus.

Hahaha... wen i was in grade 8 i confronted my crush... he's my friend... it didn't go well after that it's always akward between us... i think friendship goes a long way than relationship.. [bf/gf thing]... it's only my opinion ppl =] i mite be wrong who knows

Well if you really are that good of friends there will probably be a time he realizes you like him, but he won't necissarily ask you if you do b/c he won't want to look a fool and mess up your friendship even though it won't i'm assuming since you like him so. also, if you are that good of friends telling him shouldn't really hurt your friendship, but i can't say b/c i don't know how good of friends you are, but not telling him can really hurt. just if it doesn't turn out he likes you that way and he stays a friend just be there and never stop being there and he may end up liking you too. just tell him and be there, at least as a friend.
