Anyone trying to get over someone?

Have you gone through a break up? I have once before, but this one seems to be different. It is so much harder. I just don't know what to do. I feel like I am having an out of body expierence. Like this can't be happening. It just can't. Does that make any sense?

I'm trying to get over someone, too. Its so hard when they are still your friend afterwards but you still want to be more. Sometimes it feels impossible to move on. Anyway, thats how I feel. I hope you make it through

I hope you do too. I just wrote a poem that helped me to just write it. You should read it. It might help you too. It's called Need to be Strong. We just broke up today so it's really hard right now. I'm just trying to understand and it's not getting me anywhere.

Yup, i know how youse all are feeling. I was with my man for 6 months..the longest relationship i ever had..and we never kissed or anything, i guess we didnt need all the mushy stuff to love each other...it was my fault we split. And i was the one who came rushing back and he didnt. We arent even close anymore. He actually dropped out of school a month ago. And when i found out, i cried so hard that i caught a cold lol. But seriously ladies...boys arent worth the tears you cry for them. They are jerks..well most anyway. And it is sooo hard to move on...i've been trying to get over the guy for six months since we split..and it totally isnt working. Even though i never see him. Maybe its love..or maybe it just needs time. To tell you the truth, i love being in love with this guy more than i hate it. Its just the feeling, you know? Well anyway..ill stop babbling on. I just hope you girlies see that you have so much time to find the right guy..and that everything happens for a reason.

Im trying to get over my ex girl freind (no im not a boy, don't get sonfused my bisexual) and i just cnt get her out my head. I think i'm over her until i see her or hear her voice. It's driving me mad. How can i get over her?!!

I've been heartbroken before. The important thing that you need to know is that it's not the ed. You'll meet someone new and they'll love you. And as morbid as this sounds... the pain will help you become A) a better person (i.e more compassionate to others) and B) a better boyfriend/girlfriend. Just think positive an remain diligent for someone else.

Maybe we will meet wiht someone new. but i think first love will never end. first love is first love.

Yeh. so its hard to get over somone. but i have seen for some people its easy and they just get over. but i realy dnt think that if their love would be true then how they get over someone very easily.
anyways again it depends on person.

but i think time is the best thing that can make us forget about our loves one.

I got over him already, just not his decisions and choices. I wear my heart on my sleeve it seems to never work. I try new things, i step out of my element and beyond, but for me it comes to a point where if the guy doesnt like me, then let me know so i can move on. I hate guessing games. Why cry over spilled milk? Whats done is done. But something a guy told me yesterday was "If he doesnt recognize you the way you want him to, hes not worth your time. I recognize you" awww i know haha =D. but neways......im wayyyyyyyy off subject...aren't I???? hahaha

*sigh* *raises hand* I'm getting over my first boyfriend and first REAL love or I should say that like the one up two from me, I'm more or less over him I'm just not over the choices he made and the things he's still doing and the things his new girlfriend that he left me for is doing =( I still think about him at night when I'm lonely and everywhere I go and everyone I talk to reminds me about something we did together or I still see guys that look so much like him that I almost start crying =( But then like someone up there said...you never get over either your first love or the things they made you feel =(
All I've found that helps a little is write a lot of poems *even if you can't post some of them on here lols*, lots of chocolate, stay as busy as you can doing stuff that makes you happy and laugh, and spend a lot of time around people and friends that don't know anything about what happened lols

Well, let's see me & my ex were going to a 1yr. and he brought me a promise ring. For some reason I knew, but I was changing on him in a attitude or pull myself away from him. I didn't know about the ring though, so don't get lost in that. lol. He has noticed and I was attempting to break it off with him. It was... hard... I told couple of people... and I even told his best friend bad in my part. I just know one thing I couldn't let him go and when I did... I was in pain, and depressed. I've actually heard couple of things that he said that wasn't that great, but yeah. I'm dating, and I'm interested in one guy, but who I'm dating isn't that one. Well, I'll stop here cause I don't want to feel any bad like I am now. lol. And it's true what Chrissie said, there's time to find the right guy! ... just don't let the right guy slip that fast! lol.
