He Wants Me To Be Humble

My boyfriend and i have been together for almost 2 years now, and for the first year everything was fine, but them he started getting real bitter and mean. I told him in the beginning of our relationship that i was not a humble person. i said that i was very outspoken. So when we get in arguements he expects me to jst sit back and let him yell. I don't and he gets mad, he says i'm disrespecting him. But i don't think so. I need some help on what to do, should i end this relationship, or what?

He ain't worth it if he A) yells at you, that is the start of an abusive relationship and B) if he actually expects you to take it. How pompous is that for him to say it's disrespect to defend yourself? I'd pretty damn well pompous.

Well the relationship is hard to get over because when i was in the hospital he was there for me, he stayed by me when my mom kicked me out and i was going threw my ruff times, after everything had settled down was when he started acting different.

Not only is he disrespecting you by yelling at you, he's trying to wear down your strong will and freedom so he can make you weak and CONTROL you!! I can'y stand guys like this!! My personal opinion would be to end the relationship NOW!! One day he'll get mad enough to smack or hit you when he says that you're disrespecting him and then the next thing you know you're not yourself and wondering what happened to you....THE REAL YOU!!
