I think honor is simply always taking the high road, no matter how easy it would be to slide. To do what's right because it's right, and for no other reason. Accepting that what is honorable might be difficult or terrifying or even mundane and iniglorious, but doing it anyway. Fighting the fights of those who can't fight for themselves, while never, ever using your power over those who are weaker or disadvantaged. And, also, treating everyone else as if you hope that they possess the same honor as yourself. |

I agree with you Sibellyne...In that taking the high road equates to honor...But then in many societies honor seems to be long held reputation and pride in one's family. |

Yeah i neevr said i woujldnt sue one if i had to i jsut think thats it is a chickens weapon... and yeah i dont have any less respect for you for caryying around a gun.. i mean a greatest honor is being willign to give up your honor to protect... but yeah i do not like guns....i mean now adays its no longer survivial of the fitest or anything like that.. its who has the bigger gun.... but yeah if i really ahd to i would use a gun and probably one day in my lfie i might.. i dont live in an area like yours so i ahev no clue what it is like but i know similar situations that could happen there but its not every day life here so yeah... but i still have p most respect for you which is more then i can say for many people in the world |

Honor to me is doing what's right no matter how much harder it makes life for you. It's never letting your personal dislikes or hatred take control of your actions or words. While you can still hate or dislike people you will treat them the same as everyone else simply because it right. Honor is loving the one you love and being prepared to do anything and everything possible to help them to the best of your ability. |

Well, honestly, honor to me.... to do things that you are proud to say you have done, are doing, or will do. things that may not matter to anyone else, shouldn't really matter to anyone else, but what you base your life on and what makes you destinct in being who you are. |

Honor defines you. honor is standing point in society. without honor you are nothing, to the outside world you are an empty shell. |

Honor to me is remembering someone in the best of ways, showing that you are proud of anothers acomplishments. its a word used to say thank you for all you've done for me. |

Hmm wow great convo, i see, has been going on while i was away... it is stills ad to see so little people with honor... such few of us who still have a grasp of what is left of the word.... i would really like to see more people who hold honor close to them.. who truley live by the word... that is what i was hoping when i amde this... to see many people who held true to honor... to prove myself wrong that it ahs fallen from the world... but so far i was right... i still wish to be proven wrong though ... so it is very sad that we are the few who beleive in honor out of all the people on this site.... |
