She walked through the doors of the building wiping away the many tears that had been falling from her beautiful eyes few saw very little cared she passed many faces her skin soft and pure like the white silk of foreign countries but stained with the crimson blood that she so hurriedly wiped away trying not to show she stated approaching her friends she pushed her long black hair out of her face wiped away the last of her tears put a smile on her face that brightened up the world picked up her chin and greeted her friends warmly careful not to let her mask slide from her face she went on with the day but by 4th period she could hold on no longer she slowly raised her hand trying to keep her fingers steady as she was excused she slipped her hand in her bag and grabbed something so dear to her the only thing that brought her relief she arrived in the restroom and sat on the floor she closed her eyes and bit her lip as the red liquid slowly fell from her skin as the blood fell and was released from her skin she let out a deep sigh she stood up but fell to the hard floor she pulled her shaky self up slowly her head spinning thoughts floating around maybe this time too much too deep letting the cool water soothe her as she started breathing normally once more she slowly made her way through the twisting paths of the hallways the walls spinning and speaking to her she didn’t she didn’t know where to go she could not think everything turned to chaos but then she bumped into him she looked up to his face the mere sight of his eyes made her knees give out from under her and make the blood come rushing the strength of his arms holding her the sensation made lose control for half a second but then she regained herself and quickly pulled away making sure not to let their eyes meet question on his face worry in his voice he knew what was wrong but still he asked what was wrong she could do nothing but stare in unbelief into an unseen world she shook her head and for a moment got lost in the dreams of what had been she brought herself back to reality she recoiled back and found a way back to the classroom she slunk back in her desk and sat in a dazed dream the next thing she knew the bell rang loudly as the whole class bolted out the door the day was hazy and dreamt as she wrote away the time the time all she dreams for is the silenced voices of the world and the sounds of the unseen world to go away and stop haunting her. As she sits there counting down the seconds of the last periods she wishes that school day to end but dreads for that means to go home to another piece of a hell added to the rest of that day. It rang too much of her sorrow. She had wished the time could’ve stopped in between moments much like the other parts of her life, unsure and or almost there she slowly gathered her stuff and started on the short path that lead her to a place her family called “home” she arrived there ready for the screams and criticism that land brought, but nothing was heard a silence swept over her like a cool breeze of fresh air there was a note on the table which explained the peace of the house apparently it would remain like that for quite some time alone in her house brought that peace she longed for. On her computer she played music hoping the deathly screams would numb her soul. Many songs played, but instead of numbness all it did was bring back the frozen memories and make her taste the bitter cold once more. She fell to the floor and burst into tears no longer able to hold it in anymore unable to breathe as the sobs came from deep her lungs she cried begging for freedom of this curse, this spell that had been put on her, but unable to break free she just held herself as the images came flooding her mind and voices played over in her head. The voices the words so perfectly clear as if they were real, they were real but they were very careful to remind her it was only in the past all she could hear were so many promises being repeated and then all the voices stopped she knew the worse was yet to come silence even the music had stopped then a loud shattering of all those promises being broken into a million pieces. She closed her eyes and in her head rewound time as she saw herself and him no one could come between them…or so she thought what had happened to her life what had she done what was so wrong about her that this awful thing had happened? The voices came back now she reached for a piece of paper and started writing all the reasons why she should hate him but couldn’t think of any she tore the paper into a thousand pieces she ran to her bedroom and even though the heat was unbearable she covered herself and sank into a deep sleep full of unreal dreams. She awoke drenched in sweat she looked up at the clock and read three ’o seven a.m. A deep darkness fell over the room and as silent tears were all the sound fell from her eyes. She started writing “my world is darkness without you light and the darkness feels so wrong, your light warmed my world but how…..” she threw away the piece of paper as tears flooded her vision unable to see she fell, face on the floor she lay there as she picked up an object and slid back into the darkness. Hours went by as she sat up now the clock said six o’clock she looked out her window the rain fell so suddenly just as her tears. Another day to waste in darkness and misery. She went to a mirror scared to look and find her in the reflection. She finally looked up and much to her disgust she did see herself she only saw what she thought to be ugly her black eyeliner ran down from her eyes to her neck her eyes red from the painful tears that fell so hard her hands stained with blood. She turned on the shower in hot water maybe it would wash away some of her thoughts as the steamy water fell on her pained body her muscles relaxed she slunk back onto the floor preparing herself to face another day. She later found herself walking through the muddy path working on that fake smile everyone seemed to love. Once again she walked through the metal doors ready to face the day…or so she thought. In her mind thousands of thoughts and questions and the hard cold truth of reality, but still she fantasized about what could be.........NOT FINISHED!
