I want you to write a poem entitled 'Lonely'

Well hes my poem entitles

LONLEY

I sit here
theres nothing around

everything is dull
I don't here a sound

I feel like
no ones watching me

I don't see how
how this could this be

all my life theres
been someone watching my every move

I always felt
like i had something to prove

but now i can be free
and not have to please

I can sit outside for once
and my hair be ruffled by the breeze

I don't have to care about
what others think

under all that stress
i felt like I'd sink

but now you are all
away and gone

I can finally journey alone
in the river like a peaceful lonely swan

I'm lonely, when I can't feel your wonderful touch,
lonely when I'm missing these memories so much.

I'm lonely, when I cant see your beautiful face,
lonely when your not with me in this lonely place.

I'm lonely, when I can't hear your heart beat,
lonely when your not here to make me complete.

I'm lonely, when I can see your beautiful eyes,
lonely when all I hear is sorrowful goodbyes.

I'm lonely, when I feel nothing but this misery,
so I'm here lonely, thinking of these lost memories.

Lonely

He sits, a living rock of flesh and bone,
lost amid a vast and endless nothingness.
What is it he sees in his minds eye I wonder,
as he stagnates under the suns harsh, unyielding glare?
Does he dream of love? Youth?
Or does he contemplate all that has been and
shall never be?

He stares across the miles of emptiness,
eyes clouded, his thoughts hidden from me.
The wind blows, stirring the sand,
lifting his hair with playful gentleness.
Grains spiral like those trapped
within the hour glass as time slips by
unnoticed.

He sits, this rock of flesh and bone,
knees drawn up to pillow his head
as if the burden of these thoughts are too great,
and I shudder with sorrow.
The cloudless sky does not weep,
the sand, like time, continues to swirl away
in the breeze.

I send the silent thought, "Someone is here.
I shall stand beside you, and together we will touch
the cloudless sky and make it weep with joy."
Does he hear me? Does he know? I think not. His silent form,
a beacon to my eyes as he sits,
still unmoving.

My mind seeks to know, my heart yearns to comfort.
His distance makes me think of death. For surely,
this must be what it is like; Desolate, empty, lonely.
Yet still he is sitting, like Poe's Raven,
the shadow never lifting, unflitting,
lost within the labyrinth
of his mind.

Recall those days,
The ones filled with rain,

Your light flickers and starts to fade
No longer bright, a whisper now
No longer strong and brave.

A single speck up in the sky
Once true and bright to me
A light so proud to boast a shine
As you shot cross the galaxy.

In clustered crowds you used to be
Outshining all your peers
Not knowing that longevity
Would find you lonely here.

Oh little star that once was brave
That stood with so much love
Has now become a lost facade
Up on the sky above.

There is no deadline DATE set to this specifically, it says [as Stephen stated] when ALL positions are filled. They`re not. He has a life and a Dad who controls that life, be nice. It`s just a contest. I don`t see why there has to be such a big deal on every contest that gets delayed because of personal problems. Please respect Stephen, he has done a lot for this site and he is an awesome person. No one deserves to constantly be yelled at like this. Especially when there ISN`T a due date to this contest.

Okay synh, it isn`t the easiest thing detecting sarcasm on a website. When there is a "hahaha" or an "lol" beside it, then it is easier. Sarcasm, which I`m sure you have come to find, is easiest detected through the sarcastic tone of voice. Yes, we all have family problems and life doesn`t give anyone a break, you`re right. But, I just didn`t see why there needed to be a big break out on this when it is stated in the rules that it will end when all spots are filled when only a minority of the spots are filled as of yet.

And he wasn`t using his family "problems" as an excuse. His excuse was that he has no power cord to his computer. He can`t access the computer with no power cord. We don`t need to all be fighting over this. Just leave it as is. What`s been said already has been said, but most of us have fell short on contests before. And our contests have been delayed. So I think it`s only fair that we all get the equal amount of slack that we deserve from contestants. It is appreciated and will pay off.
