I write stories at school. I write poetry at home. It is a way of creating messages to people about life problems for me. Sure, I'm only a freshman, but to me, and hopefully several others, my poems send a message. I probably started writing poetry in 6th grade. I wrote my poem I'm Still Alive in 8th grade after my friend's poem was one of the winners in the poetry.com contest. That really inspired me, not knowing she could write like that. My emotions flooded and that's where it all began. |

For me, it all started in the shower, long, long ago. I swear showers are magical. |

I've always had a fancy for poetry ever since a young girl. I began recording my writes approximately threee years ago, anything written before that times wasn't too serious. It was through my younger sister that I found out about this site, and lately more so than any I have read several other's and began to develop a further interest to style's I had not known about. Writing allows me to express my deepest and darkest memories, my frustrations and my joys. :) |

I started writing almost two years ago. It was because we had to write some poems at school and I realized I had the talent. So that's why I started. But that's not why I do it now. |

Possibly when I was in kindergarden, making up phrases and quotes that I just felt, from the heart. I continued in third grade when my teacher read a poem and I liked the flow and rhyme. Since then, I decided to combine both efforts. Starting from my pre-teen years it was more of a lyrical influence from the music I got into. Everything. |
