Do you guys think that if a poem includes one persons opinion, that the reader can dislike the poem because he/she disagrees?

Mmm, not sure, i think everyoe is different but for me its not the opinio its the quality and effort inside the poem that counts.

Of course the reader can. That is the great thing about subjectivity. Ever wonder why there are such things called critics?

Duh they can . At one point (for example), when I decided to post a poem from my philosophy class that had my opinions on life and how to live it, I got into arguements with a ton of people because I was so "pessimistic" -__-

A reader can have any reaction that hits them,If they are a mature reader they should be able to separate their feelings about the subject and their feelings about the poem.we have to realize some subjects are very controversial and may create an emotional response.

I also dont think so, but readers have different tastes so it may depend on this. I worth what people write.

It depends on how much a reader's outlook on the poem is distorted by their objection to the content.
