I was on the phone with my b/f when his brother said he was running away. He's almost 15, so we didnt think anything of it.

30 minutes later my sister's friend is knocking at my door. My sister is at the store. I look down the street and theres my b/fs brother.

Next thing you know the cops are involved. They brought him home, and both their parents came home from work. My b/f calls me to tell me all the trouble HE is in.

Its rediculous how he gets in trouble for his brother running away. =(( I feel bad for him and I don't know what I can do to comfort him, as he'll prolly be grounded for an unreasanable amount of time

Um, Your not really asking for advice here, your just complaining about his parents being retarded. Would you like to put a question in there? lol

If not then there isn't really anything for anyone to say but to bad so sad

Well he should have been watching his brother too. No matter how old his brother is.

Well even if he is capable of taking care of himself and is mature (which I doubt because he ran away instead of dealin' with the problem in an adult fashion) he is still legally supposed to be under the supervision of an adult. Failing that he should be under the supervision of an older teen close to becoming an adult. Since he's only 15 all of the problems he creates and illegal acts he commits, however miniscule that action may be, he does between his running away and his return to home is on the head of his parents (or whoever is in charge of him at the time). So if he had gone through some random guys property and that guys dog attacked him and mauled him to death it would have been his parents at fault. Even if they had no idea he was even out.

Im worried that since the cops picked him up at our house that he will associate the experience with our house. I'm afraid that he'll think we called the cops to our house, when my mother was just going to birng him home, it was his father who called the cops.
