Ten people will write a poem to that title.
I will pick 5 poems to go on to the 2nd round.
And then I will pick 3 people to go on to the last round.
Then I will pick a winner and a runner up.
Every round gets a new title.

Absolutely NO profanity
It has to have an ABCB rhyme scheme
It Has to be new
It To have the title as the last
line of the poem, or the first.

Perfections only flaw

A mirror made of ripples
in the solid plains of steel
these memories keep replaying
with the pictures that aren't real

you can tell from the smiles
that are plastered on our faces
we never even learned how to turn
back to those places

the blooming of a rose
as it sinks down into blue
not perfect, yet so beautiful
so strong and yet so new

the crying of the babies
as they come out of the womb
the wailing of the mourners
death can never be too soon

to me this is perfection
this stumbling in the dark
for if it's not then what is?
sings the trilling little lark

see everywhere and everyone
don't seem to understand
we've already reached the horizon
of this beautiful newborn land

they believe they need to reach
perfection for they're blind
sometimes to look for what you want
you don't need to look behind

this world was already beautiful
the wars are changing all
for the unability to show itself
is perfection's only flaw
