Hey everybody, just wondering how you deal with your stress or depression. I'm willing to bet most of you write but have you ever felt so bad that you can't even manage to scribble a few letters on a piece of paper? When that happens, how do you deal with it. My girlfriend didn't quite approve of my way of doing it so i'm trying to come up with a new method. Any suggestions? Anything would be much appreciated. Thank you all |

When I'm feeling depressed, I usually can't write at all. It's like the words won't escape me and I just sit there staring at a blank paper wishing I could everything get out. |

Um bad for me, but smoking a menthol. Calms my nerves anough to write to get my emotions out. |

I let myself cry it out, plus I cry easy anyway. Then I listen to music tht matches my mood and if really bad, i sing to the music. |

I deal with stress by writing, not necessarily poetry. Sometimes it's easier to just write a journal entry, because you don't have to worry about your choice of words. |

I play cards with my siblings..it's weird but it actually keeps my mind off and I don't stress out as much after. |

Talking to the people who i know care about me. and going out with my friends and having a good time. writing poetry or short stories. doing volunteer work, helping others, listening to music. lots of things. just find something that appeals to you |
