One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish

One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish.
My name's Garfish and I have one wish
Wish I may and wish I do
What I wish for I will tell you.

I wish to be happy each day
I wish to go outside and play
And play away the mighty day
Until the night turns the sky gray.

I wish to run around and scream
And every second eat ice cream
Go to the extreme just for my team
Until my sleep takes me to dream

I wish to merely jump around,
To touch the sky, to hit the ground.
And through the house not make a sound.
That is the only wish I've found.

One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish.
My name's Garfish and that was my wish
Wait, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven.
Oh my god I said eleven

    Sorry star, can't say today
Which wish I will choose to stay
So please come back another day
For now I guess I'll just go play.

And to Think i saw it on Mulberry Street

I once had a friend I called Larry
Who claimed that his brother was Harry
And that Harry knew a man named Jerry
Who loved to pick one single Cherry

The Cherry the Jerry chose would vary.
By the mood that Jerry would carry.
He would pick a bright cherry if cheery,
And would pick a dull cherry if weary.

After collecting the cherry he rode on a ferry
Where a man named Terry had a single Berry
And Terry and Jerry would show Cherry and Berry
Then they would exchange them and both would be merry

Arriving at home at a street called Mulberry
Terry and Jerry invited Harry and Larry
Who of course each also brought a berry
And together all merry they all ate their berries

And that is the story of my friend named Larry.
Who also by chance had a friend named Gary.
And my name of course does not matter here
What matters is that I saw all this on the street of Mulberry

    The Butter Battle Book

In my library you will find,
Many books to fill your mind
Books on looks, and how to cook,
    And even books discussing hooks.
Books on crooks, books on nooks,
And books that talk of other books.

Books on shelves, books on stands,
Even some books that have hands.
Then there is one that meets my eye
The one my mom lives her life by
The Butter Battle Book by name
Though my mom says this book's no game.

She works all day, and sometimes nights
Trying to get what's inside right
I really hate it, yes indeed
The way it makes her so busy
I would rather her to play
Instead she works the day away

So now I plan to make things well
And send this book to sleep with shells
But when I open up the book
I cannot help but simply look
It's all my favorite food inside
It's how my mom makes stuff refried.

I put the book back on its perk
Perhaps I should just let mom work.

    Dr. Seuss's ABC

    Dr.Seuss's ABC
sounds like a man from wallabeejee.
His accent is high and very screechy.
The words come out so slowly.

    "A B C D E F G, " Dr. Suess sighs,
" Why don't you sing along with me."
    Deep breath " H I J K L M..."

" Hello, no one sings with me,
it's making me very angry. "
    Deep breaths again " N O P ,
Come on guys! Sing with me."

    And as everyone joins in,
you can hear the letters win,
    " Q R S T U V W X Y Z. "

    - - - -
It stinks, but I'm not looking to place, just write. :/
