I need help please....

Ok so i kind of have a problem....i'll start from the beginning....

i've been writing poetry for a long time now and they're really good..but the thing is that all of my poems dont really have a pattern...you know like the different forms of poetry...i dont do that..i just write poems that rhyme...i think my poems are good but then i look at different peoples poems and realize that they have true talent because they know everything about poetry and i know ZIP .. nothing...i always see people tell what kind of poem they write...and i want to learn how to do that...

so i was wondering if someone who knows alot about poetry could help teach me how to write different forms of poetry and what they are called...

i guess its kinda like tutoring..lol... i really like writing and i want to improve on it..so is there anyone willing to help me?

I dont think its important whether or not you have any special technique. i mean its great to know all that stuff but i think its more important that you just know how to express yourself and get your feelings out through poetry. i read some of your poems and i think youve done that. [=

that is where i go to learn all of my types of poetry when i want to write something new. lol just go to types of poetry. i used to just write. no rhyme... no pattern.. no nothing. but dear. you have your own pattern. every writer has thier own signature in their writing whether they see it or not. don't mean you know zip though.

I write a ton of diff poetry all the time cos i like trying them out. If you want, PM me and we could do a few together or something if you wanted?

Mmkay Michelle poetry is a way to express yourself. so if all your poems rhyme then that is just fine. Poetry is about what makes you happy, don't let other peoples work make you feel your poetry is bad, Because if you keep writing about what you feel from your heart than your poetry will always be the very best. If you love to write pomes that is all the matter is what you think about your pomes and if it is good to you then one day you will be in a newspaper or something like that when it comes to your pomes all you need to say is "my name is ......... and i am a great writer i am a writer i love writing my pomes one day someone will see i have the the skills to make it" that is all the matters ok
