Are you the type of person...?

Well i was wondering you guys, are you the type of person
that will cry in front of people if something sad happens..do you break down in front of others..
or is that something you do when you're home alone in your room..do you cry then??
do you cry at all?

i. myslef, am definitely the one who cries when i'm alone. i don't even remember the last time i cried in front of somebody..it's sad because people seem to think i'm strong when i'm not..

but i was just wondering what are you guys like??

I cry when I need to cry, but that's not very often. If I'm in front of people, I suppose I try to hold back...I've never really thought about this. I don't really care what people think in the case of crying. What's someone going to do? Give me a dirty look for being sad?

I haven't cried in a long time, so I can't really say if something happened to me and made me actually cry . But if I really can't hold it, then I just burst out in tears . I've only done that twice ... Almost two years ago O_O But I mean, if I can hold it, I prefer to hold . Crying just makes everyone go, "OMG ARE YOU OKAY?" and it gets annoying . Besides, I hate crying in front of people I know won't bug me about it . Like my parents . Ugh -.-

i feel so ~weak~ to let myself cry, and i CANT let people see my weak side. it would totally ~ruin~ how i look at myself.

if i ever do start crying in front of any one, i don't let them see my eyes... so i turn away or put my head down.

i cry BY MYSELF, in my room, on my bed. and i dont talk to anyone until im done.

I always cry alone. My mom (believe it or not) threatens to ground me when I cry. I'm 13 years old but I think that even I have the right to cry sometimes. So I always cry when I'm alone. And it really sucks because everyone thinks that I'm strong so they give me MORE problems or their problems. That's when I really fold... It's hard.

I cry alone...i never cry infront of people about things that really bother me...if i injure myself nd it hurts i'll cry whenever but if something is upsetting me i wnt show others my pain, not even when my gran died or my doggy...i kept it in when i was around all my friends..
i think my fear is that they would think i was weak, even though im sure they wouldnt..

*sigh* I'm one of those that finds it really hard to show people anything but the brighter side of me and my life =P I refuse to cry in front of others because it shows them that what they did got to me or when people see me cry they try to make it better and then I feel worse for worrying them =P If someone I love die then yes I'll cry and cry till the tears run out and I don't care who sees those but other then that...I get really mad at myself if I cry in front of people =P Thats why everyone thinks I'm either heartless, strong enough to handle anything or just cold and overly reserved =P

Me too. Besides it's hard for me to cry because I decided not to. I hate it but when I do cry... I do it in private. I hold it all in until I'm alone.

I don't want people's pity, and I don't want people thinking I'm weak. So I always put up a facade when I want to cry.

I prefer to cry alone; however, if I am overwhelmed with anger... and start to cry from anger... please run away because then I do not care. I go directly into attack mode as some say.

When I do cry in front of others it is normally due to a near death or a death in the family. The last time I can really recall crying in front of someone other than my mom was when my grandmother passed away in Jan. 2005. The time before that was Nov. 2004 when I burried my favorite grandmother.

There's two times ive cried in front of people...

~when my boyfriend of over a year broke up with me... i didn't cry at first... but i held it in long enough to pack up my backpack. i almost got all the way to the lockers though. i cried for the rest of the school day. it was in the beginning of the school year and all these girls that i didnt know saw me cry... i cant believe i let that happen

~when i hit/broke my arm on the diving board. i didnt want them to see me cry, but it hurt so bad. my best friend anne marie was walking me to the locker room and i was all 'i feel so bad for crying in front of everyone' and she hugged me and said it was ok... which made me cry more.

Yea I cryied in front of pplz before well in front of my friends anyway. An I sometimes cry to when I am all alone.

The last person i cried infront of was my boyfriend when he ran away just to see me.... his mother came and started to hit him and he told everyone that was there why he really ran away... he started to cry and then i did... i wouldn't let him go home i had to stand there and hug him for a while

I cried in front of people when my best friend got killed and a few other times!

When i was little i got hit for crying so i learned to hold things in. i havent cried in a long time. ppl often call me insensitive because when someone dies i dont cry but thats the way i grew up.
i think its ok for other ppl to cry but when i do i feel weak.

Nope. Never cry. I'm what some of you would call 'stoic'. Cold-hearted? Maybe just a little but who the hell can judge eh?

I too cry alone. I can't stand it to cry infront of others.

When I'm home alone I usually lock myself in my room and turn on the music why I cry. For me crying in front of others is just letting them down. Showing them that I'm not really that strong.

I'm the same way as you are. I don't cry infront of anybody. It's just a fear I have of appearing weak infront of someone, or myself.

I don't really care who see's me cry.
If a certain thing reminds me of something sad then I will cry.
Everyone cries. Some more than others. But everyone will cry. The reason may be different.
But oh well, it is a human thing to do.
Some say that crying is a sign of weakness, but it is just a simple act of expressing your feelings. You cry because your happy, sad or laughing so damn hard that the tears just start coming.

Maybe some people have to much pride, but that just proves that you care way to much about what others think =]

I try not to cry in front of people. my therapist says thats a bad thing but i dont think people should know im hurting.. that just makes them sad too.. the only person i will just let it rain in front of is my boyfriend, because i know he can always help

They discriminating me cos i am not pretty or sexy... but i know how to adjust with other but for them it's like out of cast...

If it's a dramatic thing that has happened then I might, but if it's more something else I would do it alone.

For me, i seldom cry...but if ever i cry i always trying not to show it to other people even to my mom.....cause i think crying in front of people is being weak...that's why i just put my feelings on my poems...

I cry alone, but i normally can't cry if something really sad happens. it takes me forever to soak it all in and then i cry at night so no one can hear me, i also cry at just little things, which is really pathetic, like when i see a beautiful mountain or the ocean or little kids begging on the street. it sucks.

I cries ALOT!!! when dark comes...tears start to fall....like a dying rose..hoping for bless from the highest..to flow through me and heal me...*sigh* i think every night i cried.....

I cry alone most of the time....but when my parents hurt me and stuff....i usually end up crying in front of them....then i go to my roo to finish. I dont like them seeing me cry.
Then my mom yells at me for making her feel bad....even if she hurt me and thts why I cried.
I try not to cry in public outside of my own house...and i cover up my saddness from family issues with a smile and a laugh jus becuz i dont want special attention for my problems.

I like to be the strong one..heck I hate crying all together...But when something happends like my dad's death this year..I'll cry in front of people..But I normaly try and hold it in all together. It was my new years resolution to 'Not cry at school' so far Ive only had watery eyes *yey me*.
But yeah I don't like showing people that I'm upset, last time I cried infront of sum1 was wen my friend tried to hang himself, not only was that painful but it brought up the fact the my cousin had hung himself a few months b4. It was a terrible terrible night.
