TERRA'S second Three Round Contest (round one)

I challenge you all to make me laugh.

-(Catagory) Fun and Humour
-it needs to be new (made July 19th and on)
-you can make your own title, or ask me to make you a title
-write as many as you want

if you make me laugh you move onto the next round'

next round will entitle you to do something else.. maybe make my heart flutter (love)
make me cry (sad)
make me lust (explicit).. haha i said lust! lmao
put me on the edge of my seat (dark)

ext... who knows what it will be.. haha :-)

SO MAKE ME LAUGH! if you would like me to give you a title i will give you a selection of three titles to choose from.

soo if jenna asked me. i would give her three titles
if Jordan asked me i would give her three other titles

it you like a title i gave some one else then you can askk to have that title and i may give it to you.

Hey, I wanna give it a try. I've never written a funny poem before though.

One day I was walking down the road,
when out of no where I steped on this toad.
In an instance he screamed a scream so loud,
that it sent me flying high up in the clouds.
I landed upside down hard on my head,
looking at the toad, thinking he was dead.
But to my suprise he leaped on my face,
spit in my eye, then ran at a fast pace.
I got up and ran, but I couldnt deny,
that it was weird that he spat in my eye.
He was fast as I chased he down the street,
and before I knew it he peed on my feet.
Dern toad, he was as smart as a fox,
when I catch him i'll throw him in a box
But like lighning he would disappear,
only to tease me as I would come near.
Next thing I knew I fell in this big hole.
and there he is sitting next to a bowl,
He looks up saying bud you want a bite?
better take it now, we will be here all night.
There I sit looking at this talking toad,
same toad I stepped on down the road.
And then I wake up, must of been a dream,
toads dont talk but so real it seemed.
I sit up and I feel an ache on my head,
got up so fast I almost feel out of bed.
there he is, sitting in an big brown box,
same toad from the dream, sly as a fox.
I look at him, hey little guy you cant speak,
turn around while he mumbles, stupid freak.

this is my first attempt to a parody, not bad if i say so, only took me a few mins, hope yall like it,

Why Tiller Can't Miss Me

Missing me is very bad -
Because it makes you very sad.
And if Tiller is unhappy,
Than it makes my day very crappy.
And then I get quite mad.

Missing me is not good to do,
Because then I would have to miss you too.
Which would make me very sad,
And then I would become mad -
All because I had to miss you.

So don't go around missing me,
Because it just creates problems, you see.
So go continue being happy -
And I'll just continue being crappy,
Because I'm missing you while you're not missing me.

=]

I will be judgung on august 7th. so deadline is August 6th midnight. :-)

if there are no more entries i am afraid there will only be one round though.

Xx Do Fishes Sleep? xX

One day I sat and watched my fish
And started wondering
Don't they ever just get tired
Of constantly swimming?

That's all they ever seem to do
Eat flakes and swim around
I've never seen my fishes sleep
Or have a quick lie down

It must be so exhausting
Being always on the go
Don't they ever have a nap?
I really have to know

Every night I lie in wait
Before having a peep
But I've never seen them close their eyes
Surely they have to sleep?

Xx Birdseed xX

I was out in my garden one sunny day
Planting all my vegetable seeds
Watering them and digging the soil
Giving them all that they need

When suddenly inspiration struck
As I caught sight of a cute little bird
It was hopping along my vegetable patch
Singing the best song I'd ever heard

An idea started to grow in my mind
Like the seeds I'd planted in the ground
I knew what I wanted to try and grow next
As I watched the small bird hop around

So I got back to work planting some more seeds
Making sure they were properly sown
By planting birdseed into my patch
I'd soon have a bird of my own!

Xx The Fall Of Humpty Dumpty xX

Everyone knows the nursery rhyme
Of Humpty Dumpty and his wall
But one thing just doesn't make sense
Why would he suddenly fall?

You see, old Humpty had good balance
It was a well known fact
He used to be a tight rope walker
And he never fell off that

There's no way he could have fell
Not even with a windy gust
There's only one explanation
Humpty Dumpty was pushed!

Xx Never Trust A Dolphin xX

Splishing, splashing in the sea
Leaping towards the sun
I love watching the dolphins
As they play and have such fun

They are such happy creatures
Somersaulting in the air
Surfing on the biggest waves
Whistling without a care

Cheerfully showing off their moves
They dance and twirl all day
Flicking water with their tails
Having fun the dolphin way

Yes, I love watching the dolphins
But something niggles in my mind
I just can't trust a species
That is smiling all the time!

The house feels so empty without you
Everything seems so out of place
You were always there to lean upon
To cuddle up to
Always so warm and inviting
You would cheer me up on my most miserable days
On my darkest nights. Never asked questions
When I fell on you and cried, you were there...
To cushion my fall
You would watch all the girly films with me
Let me hide behind you
When we watched the scary ones
Never complained when I was angry
And threw things at you
You were always there with open arms
You looked proud and touch
But you were soft inside, letting me fall asleep on you
Keeping me safe and warm
You were simply the best
Until the strain got too much, the wears and tears of life
Were getting you down
You were fading away, became so pale
So weak...
We both knew it was time for you to go
After fifteen years
This was goodbye
So farewell my darling sofa
You will be greatly missed.
