"As of the morning of September 11, Americans had given more than any other nation to the poor in Afghanistan. Americans welcome the best of everything...the best products, the best books, the best music, the best food, the best services. But, they also welcome the least." |

This kind of over the top pro American idea has long since lost any credibility. |

Though I have no individual control over US policy I get a sense of patriotism when I think of the great power of my country. I just wish that I could be certain that the wrath created by 9/11 was delivered only to the guilty as Toby Keith's song lyrics suggest |

China is on the way I think. I was over there man and America may have a strong patriotic faith in within it's people, but let me tell you, that is nothing compared to the zealous divine faith the Chinese people have in their leader. |

Have you been over to China? Do you know what it's like over there? I'm not talking about what they want, I'm talking about what they would do if they were told to do, that is a power you cannot get in America, faith. |

Let's hope China's leader(s) are always just and sane. |

To be honest with you I fear that the irresponsible choice that Bush made to ignore the U.N. for no good reason is likely to have consequences. We don't even want to discuss |

Fool, if you really think George Bush is a good president who has improved your national situation, then rock on mate...keep digging fox news and the rest of your "news" which is where you seem to be getting your information. |

But Kevin, don't you feel you are being the slightest bit hypocritical? As William believes our media coverage and supports the actions of our Government (silly, silly), you seem to believe that in America (Yes, we really are a nation), we have no judgments being passed congruently. How do you know, without being an American and being involved in our Government, that each action hasn't been well justified? Perhaps we all know less than we should. You can continue taking the word of your media--"Yes, America is a crappy place and Bush is semi-retarded," and William can continue believing whatever it is he believes. There are facts, of course, that prove the American Government to be faulty--taxation, health care, the economy, etc. But much goes on behind closed doors in all countries, and I can only HOPE that Bush has some master plan up his sleeve that will benefit America. |

Ha! Of course I don't like Bush...I don't like anyone with eyes that close together. |

Well fool, you are free to choose as you please, and that is a rare gift you should be proud of, but I wouldn't attribute that freedom to yor current president, who seems to want to take away the political freedoms of your country piece by piece, all in the name of the war on terror...a war strangely, that he and others started. |

Freedom and the right, will and belief in dying for it is what everyone wants. So many countries want freedom and look at the way they are treated when they can't fight for it themselves...Dar Farer for example and the North Koreans. We even have to fish the Cubans out of the water to bring them here when they defect. Not all of the world's problems can be blamed on the US or even an aussie dentist... |
