Yes definitely. And not just poetry but writing in general. I don't go anywhere without my notebook and special pen. I even went to six flags darien lake with it.
My poetry is that kind of annoying friend who eats all your food, borrows your clothes without giving them back, and makes lame puns at innapropriate times. But you just can't bring yourself to kick them out, because you're so used to their quirky presence.
