Back in LA, before I moved, there was this park. I would go there, it was only two blocks or so from where I lived and there was a hold in the ground covered with grass where a pond used to be way back when. It was all hidden and there was this little bench carved into the stone where I could curl up and hide from the hustle and bustle of the city. Before I moved, however, there was this one night I went there. I was told I was moving three days before my Mom tossed me on the plane. I could take hardly anything. I had three days to accept I was leaving my WHOLE LIFE behind, my possessions, my friends, my stepdad, my home, my hide-out spots, my school, even the ocean, which I could walk to from my house. I was pretty torn up. I was there late at night and the street lights were hitting all the leaves, making them glitter. The grass was wet and I just laid down on it. I didn't even care. I said goodbye to my writing spot and I walked home. It was like 2am. I got home and walked through my gate and noticed my yard. It was December. I had a rose garden that I would hide in to write my poems too. The christmas lights and the moon combined with the cars rushing past, making everything sparkle and move and that was the first time in probably eight years where I really just broke down and cried. It was just so beautiful. I'm dealing with life here, but I'll never have a place so sacred as my park and my garden. |

I write in class. I like the feeling of ignoring the sort of monotone droning that goes on most of the time and slipping off into a world of my own making. |

I have that problem too sometimes...oh wait, no, that's when I'm doing homework lol. But yeah I love background noises. Like sitting to where I can hear the highway noises or the ocean or in the middle of a park with a lot of people having random conversations. |

I pretty much write when i feel the need to write..so any place i happen to be at that time. though i do prefer to write on the computer instead of on paper so sometimes i formulate a poem in my head and then really get it down once i'm home. |
