A wonderful poem

I saw part of a poem somewhere, i cant remember where
but it went
'and when he gets to heaven to St.Peter he will tell:
another soilder reporting sir, i've served my time in hell'
It was writen about wither world war 1 or world war two
ive looked everywhere for it, but i just cant seem to find it
any1 reconise it or know a place that i might be able to look it up?
