English skills and poetry

poetry and english..well you really dont have to have a great vocabulary or a great english backround to be able to write amazing poetry. Yes, it does help, but its the point you get across that counts, not the words. Even though people may write cuz or 4u. It is still very easy to figure out what to say. Poetry is just like rapping, you write down exactly what you feel and exactly what comes out. Whether it is proper english or abides by grammar rules, well we can just keep that to ourselves.

I agree, poetry comes from the soul, regardless of how accurate it is. Just write what your heart prompts you, and that should be enough
