Actually people can fall in love at 13. Rare I know. I felt something very similar to love at 13. I don't think it was real love though but it wasn't a crush. I don't even know what a crush is supose to feel like feelings are confusing. Science has proven that people CAN love at ages as early as about 10. This is probably a very rare case however so the chances of you being in love are slim. I know this probably drives you crazy having people talk to you like this but I was in your place before and I really really thought I was and it was very very similar to love but I didn't realize that it wasn't until I really did fall in love. Wait until you're 15 and see if you still believe it was love. I know I know you may not think that a lot of things change I was stuborn and thought the same thing and it drove me crazy having people talk to me like this but we'll see how much you change in a couple of years. A lot can happen trust me on this one. I was a messed up kid and I'm much better now. I know someone who is probably 18 now and he was in love at a very young age like you and he was one of those cases where he really was in love.

Yeah however long it takes to figure it out. it's different for everyone.

I am supporting what he already believes while most of the others are telling him that he's nuts to think that he can understand love at the age of 13.
Keep your views of love subjective. At best, we can only find a definition that applies to ourselves. Did I type "Dan, you completely know what love is"? No. I'm trying to say that he can be capable of knowing love. It doesn't make your views a fact simply because you think they can't grasp what love is. They understand it differently from how you understand it. Maybe some would get it...maybe some won't. Dan clearly shows signs that he's exploring the concept of love. Why do you people want to shoot that down? He's not doing anything illegal or unsafe.

Science has proven that in rare cases there is love. I beleive that. True love is rare for anyone though. I think science can only prove so much about love. Nobody truely knows what love is. We may know all of it, or only 1/100th of it. Love is the unknown.
