All That Falls

From twisted vines to empty hearts
And sanctuaries came and gone
Nothing left but fatal starts
And the sparrows falling; gone

Creeping shadows up the wall
Things that lived here lost it all

Sihlouettes and puppet dolls
Limbs weak, falling short
Crawl to heaven in empty halls
Never run up, crashing short

Rotting sunshine once lived here
Laughter's sheen was almost near

But all that falls
fell soft and stong
into the darkness
of sorrow's song

Here is my poem. i hope it's not to long.

A SINGLE ROSE

I remember on Valentines Day
You left me without a goodbye
You were driving to the restaurant
But when I found out, I did nothing but cry

A car had missed the corner
And they took you away that night
On our special day
I was told, your body lost the fight

I was waiting for hours
Until I got that call
I miss you so much
And I cannot tell you at all

They told me they were very sorry
And gave me a golden ring
I did not know what is was for
Until your mum told me everything

She said you were going to propose
And wanted to spend your life with me
I never knew you felt so much love
But honey I wish you could see

See how much I still love you
I am still alone four years later
My love for you is still so strong
But if only you could see it is getting greater

They gave me the rose
You had sitting on the passenger seat
I still have that rose to this day
It has turned black but I still feel incomplete

I thought you were not even coming
I thought you were going to leave
Now I know you were on your way
And now on this earth you do not breathe

I am so sorry, it is my entire fault
Why did I make you hurry to arrive?
Maybe if I chose to stay home
Today you would still be alive

Today is Valentines Day
And I am missing you
I scream and I cry
And I do not know what to do

My love I hate myself
I did not mean for you to get hurt
And now today on our anniversary
I sit here holding with your jeans and shirt

I hold the clothes you were wearing that night
I clench them so tight, and close my eyes
No one knows of my pain inside
No one knows how much my heart cries

Ever since that saddened Valentines Day
When you were going to propose
Every year on that miserable date
I buy myself a single rose

Ummm i hope the 9th of september because there aint no way im gonna get it in by tomorrow

Hang on, i asked to reserve if i had one more day and you said it was already reserved twice, yet only poetess has reserved that... whats the problem????

If it has been reserved twice, common sense would be to update your reserve list.

Spring Will Come Again

Through drifts of snow upon the heart
The darkened moon will cease to glow
A stir of breath inside the winds
Will swell the icy water's flow.

The angry grip of winter's chill
Inside the soul will thaw in time
N'er faith or dreams to harness hope
of shattered kisses left behind.

The peak that cape the blue of mind
The soulful tunes and melodies
That hold the heart with such remorse
Will rise and fly again so free.

Through dips of pitch that thrives inside
A single touch of life shall breathe
Upon the heart that's surely died
And toppled from insanity.

Among the muddy thoughts will come
A single ray of light to shine
Inside the heart and soul that's numb
An inkling of thyself you'll find.

That single ray will start to glow
Upon the wreckage torn and bruised
And with new strength it will grow
As Spring once more will be renewed.

In eyes awakened from thy dreams
I see your soul so sound and pure
And through the harshness love does bring
Sweet ecstasy my heart endures.

A chance that I should bid you well
Inside thy arms I wish to hide
Upon thy breath a whisper tell.

Distracted am I by thy grace
Thy lips the shade of cherry wine
Fair porcelain adorns thy face
Thy body passion in my mind.

I, but a soul unworthy fool
For lucky have I come to be
Among the stars my heart is ruled
Forever my love clings to thee.
