Hello. I recently had to delete all my explicit poems under threat of ban. Now FAIR ENOUGH P&Q may get into trouble BUT... 1: The way i was treated when asked was unacceptable. 2: If theres explicitry on a site for kids KIDS ARE GOING TO USE IT! 3: What about explicitry as an art form? Its a part of life that can be used to bring awareness to problems. 4: What if the poems are REALLY GOOD? If a 14 year old won a national poetry contest with an explicit poem WOULD YOU TELL HIM TO STOP WRITING?

Ok the way I was informed was not the issue. Bob Shanks informed me, and He was a member of the community I largely respected. I just lost alot of that respect. I then saw him lock the post of a 14 year old girl for using the word b***h, even though the post was about loss of her virginity. People as young as 10 are on this site and which is more appropriet?

It depends how "explicit" you were writing. Obviously you have to keep in mind that there ARE younger kids using this site - so yeah - the mod's have a responsibility to keep this site relatively clean so that parents dont have to stress out if their kids are on here looking around. Bob cant STOP you from writing - but he can stop you from posting it on this site. If you love writing explicits and you think you're very good at them, then maybe post them on an adult site rather?

What if you have parental consent?
Like your parent's know your entering that category, can you still get band?

Cause like on the warning thing it say's ` PLease leave immediatly if you under the age of 18 and you don't have parental consent to view this material!

    Or something along the lines.
    Im just wondering.
I don't know the case, with the thread starter, but I was just wondering.
So perhaps you can answer my question bob.

Stop being neurotic. If a parent doesn't want a kid to use this site, they will block it. If a parent doesn't care, then the child will be going to worse sites anyway.

A child going to a poetry site is by all means better than them going to a porn site. Be grateful they choose poetry, not porn.

    Agreed, with steven.

I was straight up with my parent's, and they were fine with it, they where just glad I came to them and told them instead of keeping it a secret, like my sister did.
With all the program's out there, if a parent didn't want there child veiwing a site they could for sure block it.
