Tell me about yourself. Any burns, scars, disibilities, accidents, ect.

I've gotten third degree burn before. I have a scar of it on my arm. I was very young and at my babysitters house. We were making meatballs but I was too short to help unless I got up on the counter by the stove. And I leaned over the stove, fell, and my arm landed on the burner. Now it's not really a color thing it's more of a different texture on a part of my arm. People wouldn't notice it unless I point it out.

I have a cataract in my left eye but It's not really a scar. I developed it in kindergarten so I'm a very rare case. When I was very young I fell down the basement stairs and landed on concrete. I was passed out for a while. I don't remember anything passed the landing. I have a scar on my forehead that's more like a very tiny dent that ya wouldn't notice unless I pointed it out. Another thing people wouldn't notice is that one of my ears is slightly bigger than the other. My smile is crooked. Ummmm....I woke up one morning when I was very young with a black eye. My doctor said that it didn't bruise like a punch so he assumed that it must have been a spider bite but they could never find the bite marks. My rib cage is uneven. I know that sounds bad but it's not. It's just one side goes out more than the other. You could only notice it if I suck it in. It's nothing bad it's just there. 2 of my toes are kind of connected. There's a space inbetween them and all it's just the space is up further than the rest of them. It's the same on both of my feet for the same 2 toes. Picture it like a meat fork. Ya know just the two metal parts not an actually fork with like 4 long metal parts. Just two. That's kind of what it looks like. 2 of my toes on each of my feet make a meat fork basicly.

The only 'interesting' (not along the likes of acne scars or shaving cuts) scar story I can think of is when I was about 3 or 4 years old. I lived in Kansas and it was very cold there. So There I was, little old me in my snow coat walking along with that pa...my dad told me to put my hands in my pockets so they wouldn't be cold. Seconds later I tripped and didn't have enough time to react to get my hands out of my pockets. My chin caught my fall against the concrete. I had stitches and now you can hardly feel them and since they are on the under part of my chin you can hardly see it either :)

I got stiches on my chin once. They were taken out though. Or they were the disolving kind they do over time. I don't remember I was eight. I was stepping into the bathtub and I slipped. I didn't feel anything though. And at first when I saw the blood I didn't know it was blood. Since I didn't feel the pain I thought maybe it was ketchup. My first instint was that hmmm Chris (my brother) likes ketchup a lot....I know that sounds stupid but I was eight and couldn't feel any pain so that was the best I could do at the moment to think of something reasonable. Then I saw more drops apear and I realized I was bleeding so I yelled for my parents. This was at night too. Not like late late. Maybe at like 8 or 7 or something. They rushed me to the childrens hospital.

Well i have a scar that stretches from my left ear lobe to my right ankle. and i have a chuck missing from my nose where i was bitten by a dodo. and my hair is so thin that i only actually have 3 hairs left on my head, and there really long all the way down to my toenails. actually i don't have any toenails in it's place i have teeth. my cells didn't get distributed properly so i have teeth growing on my toes and nails growing from my gums. and i don't have a belly button but a hole that goes through my stomache i did it so i could have better wind resistance when bike riding. and how can i forget i can read peoples minds...so beware.

I have a three and a half inch scar on my stomach from surgery.
Next to that I have a circler scar from a stab wound via bike.
I have a oval scar on my index finger where I cut off a bunch of skin in a tv hauling accident.
I have a V-scar on my thumb from where I tried to fix my belt with a knife and the lock broke. The knife folded in and sliced my thumb.
I have a scar on the back of my neck where I burned myself when I slipped and landed backwards onto the white hot oven tray.
I have several scars on my back where my dad whipped literally. He used a whip.
I have three burns where people have put out there cigarette on my arm. But to be fair there are twice as many on them. :)
I have several burns on my arm where I branded myself with wire and fire.
I have a scar on my lip from where my friend Gilbert accidentally stuck me with his elbow when I scared him.

And that is only at age sixteen (almost seventeen). Wait until I'm in the military. Haha, I'm gonna be a bloody (literally) bulletsponge. :)

    Oooooo k!

I have a scar on my nose and cheek where when i was like, 6/7 i was playing it and the bell rang and my friend Amy Notley pushed me and i fell face first into metal stairs. first time i got a nosebleed.

and then i have a scar on both knees from where i was on my scooter going down a steep hill, wanted to stop half way and fell off and basically got pushed back into the air by my knees and i wouldn't have the scars if my nanny hadn't put sticky gel and plasters on which we had to rip off after about 3 baths. mm.

i have a random one on my arm for god knows what reason. one on the front of my foot from catching it up on my scooter. my scooter hates me. one on my thumb from cutting it. anddddd i guess that's it.

Nice collection there Jennifer, you look like the kind of gal that wouldn't have any scars....but thats just me being old fashioned.

Despite having fallen through windows, been hit by cars, had so many bike accidents I'm surely in some kind of book of records, and being very fond of swords, ninja stars and fighting as a boy..I have only a few battle scars.

one on my left hand knuckle between my "go away" fingers from where I tried to punch through a double glazed window, that was very stupid, hurt alot and bled for a long time...but I was angry at my Mother and she was ignoring me.

The other is from a nasty bike crash. I was riding a bike that was waaay too big for me, and speeding down a hill, my hands full of chocolate bars so I couldn't pull the brakes, i realized the only way to stop at my gate which was at the bottom of the hill in time for my favoureite TV show [knightmare for all your british kinds] was the crash the bike and jump off. Well it was an old bike with a huge chain and no guard that had really long sharp spikes to catch the holes in the chain...I slammed the bike into the fence, hoping to slow it down and I fell down and was dragged along for about 6 ft by the momentum, all the while the spikes where cutting into my upper groin where it joins my hip...it made a nice deep gash, no blood...but it was ace...didn't hurt at all..though my arms and head did...still, I kicked the crap out of the bike and sat crying, eating my sweets until the sugar rush made me feel better and I could go inside without shame, because my childminder was really pretty and I fancied her.

2 scars from hundreds of horrible accidents, yeah just call me Wolverine. Aside from that I have no disorders as such, except being totally colour blind and having an allergy to dogs and cats.

Thank god nobody started listing their sexually transmitted diseases. Not that me posting here relates to that in any way or form.

I'll take notes so I can use your weakness against you in later threads. And obviously won't list anything myself.

PS Yrene what a nice pic, now I can see what Helen saw in you

    LOL @ carrotgirl, good plan.

OH and i have one on my hand that's faded slightly where me and my brother ben were fighting in the back of our car because i was trying to wipe off the dirty pictures he'd drawn on the steamed window and his nail scratched my hand on accident. lolzlzolzlzlzzz.

Nice scars everybody. And I bet we all had a fun filled time collecting them! :D >_> Ehh Murray I only don't look like I'd collect scars cause of me in that picture. I dress a bit darker.........^_^ I either like things that are reaaaaalllly really bright or realllllly really dark. Alright well I thought of a few more things I could say......I'm not sure if I still have this one but I did months after I got it so I'm just assuming it's hard to find now but on my trip to Hawaii I went surfing and I kept landing in the 2% of the water where there was coral so I cut my foot on it. It wasn't a deep cut. I really didn't think it'd be a scar until it just wouldn't go away. My boyfriend and I were outside playing badmitton and he had a bad knee from previously spranging it and then it healed incorrectly. So he went to go get the birdy and he fell. Once he did this he started screaming and cussing in pain so I had to dash back in forth (I live in the country and my legs hurt after this) from him to my house several times as fast as I could go until my dad came out. Well after a few days he finally went to get it checked out and guess what happened boys and girls? His knee cap was basically dislocated and a small bone was trapped underneath of it. After months of wearing a brace he finally got to go get surgery and now he's still hobleing around and I hope he gets better quick ( I know he's not going to because he has stitches, a brace, and months of physical therapy going into the school year ) cause I'm a very very very fast walker and now I have to walk slowly with him. :p But I still heart him. ^_^

I have two small scars on each cheek. One is from when my friend went to jump on my back so I could give her a piggy back right because she was being lazy, and she had sunglasses in her hands when she was jumping on. Well the metal part of the glasses ended up scratching my cheek and leaving the scar. The other one I got from her cat which was trying to scratch her sister and when I tried moving her little sister the cat got me instead.
I have another on my ring finger from a metal sheet I was trying to move away from our garage.
Another scar on the side of my hand, closer to my wrist is from burning myself on the stove.
I have this tiny red dot on my pointer finger that's been there for almost two years now and it just won't go away. I have no clue what it's from either.
I have a scar on the back of my head that's like three inches or so from having surgery.
My knee is really messed up and I have no clue why. I've been to two different specialists and neither of them can figure it out. It'll just start randomly hurting every month for a couple weeks, except now it hurts constantly. Iceing it only helps for a little while and my knee brace doesn't help enough. Going up and down the stairs hurts a lot and so doesn't walking on it in general. It's really weird.

Ahh I thought of another but it's not a scar. One time a ring I was wearing on my finger gave my skin a kind of reaction in the form of a rash so my finger was swollen. And so I couldn't get off the ring so they had to cut the ring off with a very very sharp knife. It cut off like butter. O_o I have this one red mark on my hand that looks almost like an old pinkish scab but I don't know what it's from. It's been there for a very long time. I have no clue what it is or where it's from. It's just a little dot. I have a birthmark shaped like a butterfly/X. ^_^ I have a lot of moles on my body too. I have over 60 moles on my entire body. One even on my eye lid but it's very faint. My boyfriend and I have counted. ^_^ He's much easier to help than a mirror and twisting my head around to see my back. :p ....hmmm...trying to think if I have anything else....I can't think of any right now but all of your stories are slowly reminding me of them. :p

I have a bunch of scars on the fingers of my right hand from where I stabbed in between them with a knife in quick succession. I have twelve from that. I also have this thing where when I close my right fist there is a sickening cracking sounds. On my pinky on my left hand the skin is all rough and crinkled from when I stuck my hand in a fire. I have a scar on my ribs from where a bottle rocket knocked a whole in my side. It also left a burn mark on my right arm where the jet of flames burned me. (Curtesy of a rocket war.)

My dad has an indent in his thumb nail because an axe hit it. He was chopping wood and the axe part flung off and luckily only landed on his thumb nail....Weird eh? I wasn't around for all of this but it sounds crazy!

Ouch! That happened to my old babysitter before. I think I remember a big bandage or some sort of wrap being around her foot...I don't remember it a whole lot because I was so young.

    I have:
    1) two parallel scars on my left hand from a hand saw when I was about 6 (parents didn't know I took it)
    2) a cool scar on my heel from when I got bit by a dog (you can still see the dots from where the stitches were and its been 10 years)
    3) a scar on my right hand from when I tried to move my sisters mirror not realizing it was broken
    4) a random scar on my upper arm that I can't remember what its from
5)a couple scars from rope burn (we were climbing ropes during practice and when I slipped instinct told me to hug the rope)
    6) I tore the ligaments that hold my collarbone in place so now it sticks up and you can see a bump.
    7) I fractured my nose once but it doesn't really look uneven to me.
    8) not really anything you can see but I had a couple concussions, one of which was very bad.
    9)and my tonsils/adenoids were removed

i've had other injuries but nothing that left a visable mark

Hmm. We need some more disorders in here. There are so many mentally unstable people out there and they're so much fun to talk to. :)

  • Alex Marlatt

^ Well here's a scar that ties into that.

I my middle finger and ring fingers knuckles on my right hand are scarred because I had a horrible anger problem. I knocked several whole in my wall, punched and broke a glass thing and then punched my door (which was broken off it's hinges).

Since then I've learned to control my anger but every now and then I have a horrible day and someone pisses me off once to many times and I utterly blow up. I'm trying to fix that though.

Hmm that's not good. Yeah it seems like everyone is on anti-depressants nowadays. Or at least I hear about a lot of people taking them.
