I signed up for a club..BUT...

When i click on poetry club at the left hand side.. it lets me read the poems but not access the discussion board on it ... and next to my status it says unnaproved... i applyed about ..l 3 weeks ago .. does it normally take this long ? or am i wasting my time with waiting?
