Hey who all has heard of poetry.com - the international library of poetry. are they reputable?

I know this is a scam....i've gotten letters from them saying i won a trip to arizona or something and i had to pay 300 some dollars and i had to pay like 200some dollars for my family..and one of my friends actually paid to go and it turned out it wasnt even a real place.

I know because I submitted to them. Everyone wins. They send you a letter saying you get a trip to Las Vegas to attend a conference. You can order the book that your poem will be submitted to but you have to pay and it`s in a book with a hundred or more others.

Yep....total scam. I mean when I was like 14 I was winning their "contests" and more than once. They were like, you can go to a disney poet conference and win tons of prizes....total scam.

Huh.. thats weird, cause i got all these letters asking if i'd let them put my poem in a book, and the book came yesterday. i never even paid lol
