Well gee, because you can't love somebody without knowing what their personality is like. seeing somebody and being attracted to them is lust. you can't fall instantly in love. you can think how you'd like to date the boy, get to know them, but you can't LOVE them without truly having an idea what they're like. everyone is unique and you can't go basing your opinion of love on their looks. you have to know who they are deep down.

K, I have to say that I used to be one that did believe in love at first sight but then I got a realty check because I fell in love WAY to fast and thought it was love at first sight =p I loved him yes, but there's no such thing as love at first sight except, like Bob said, stray dogs, babies and teddy bears lols

I don't think you can fall in love at first sight, fall because of lust perhaps but not love. Love arises; develops & grows, gradually from something rather than from nothing suddenly.
