    I agree.
    14.
as long as people drive responsibly.
    which they barely ever do.
    but if they did.
    It would work out fine.
I also live in the country and ive already drove.
You need to learn how to when you live in the country.

I'm originally from montana... if you live in the middle of nowhere, the driving age is between 13-16... in town, driving age is 15

personally, i think the driving age should be 18.

I think they're bumping it up from 16 to 18 here. I think that 16 is okay, but definitely no younger.

NEVER! We should all be riding horses, camels, and llamas. Ostriches and elephants too. Maybe giraffes for the upper-class.

    Probably start learning age 14.
    License at 16.
Easier for kids to get jobs
and keeps them out of the house.

It would be nice if 14-16 year olds could handle that...

Did you know that the number one killer of teens today is car crashes?

The fact is, most teens brains aren't fully developed. They are easily distracted, and focus is crucial when driving. It takes 2 seconds for something to happen...2 seconds where teens can be texting, picking a cd out, talking to a friend... I would rather be safe as a 16 year old and not become a statistic than get a car so I can get a job. I know when I was 16 a lot of the time I didn't wear my seat belt...I'm 17 now, and you wouldn't beleive how much growing up I've done in a year and a half. I don't think I would be able to handle driving at such a young age. I'm glad I started driving now rather than earlier, especially with the things I was into at that age, and my maturity level. I think the driving age should be 18.

^ Eh, exactly why car insurance for males in the U.S. is so much higher than for women? I think not! Men are reported to get in MANY more accidents than women, annually. That myth needs to be pooped on.

    I mean, jeez.

16 here....But see we don't have any cops where I live they are an hour away so I have been driving since I was 12. I think you should be able to drive at 13.

Haha, welp, I happen to think I'm a fantastic driver. Jeff is definitely worse. In fact, he just got in an accident last week :) Why do you think women are bad drivers? Not evidently, but psychologically?

Ah, my dad is a TERRIBLE driver, but as is my sister. My mom is great. Jeff is so-so. I am phenomenal, good friend Cory is overcautious...therefore awful, ex boyfriend Chris drove off the street, across a sidewalk, and crashed into someone's garden fountain. Heh. Men and women drivers are really all over the place on the "Good vs. Bad" graph.

Honestly, I've been paying attention for the passed year, hoping to disprove some common stereotypes...and one I haven't yet disproved is that Asians are generally bad drivers. It seems like every time I'm cut off, trapped between places, almost hit, etc...it's by someone of Asian decent. I have no idea why that is.

    Suing people seems so pathetic.
