Sluvioius, that "tomorrow is promised to no one", thats in the Bible!
except no "one" is no "man"
it means the same thing nonetheless
    Bible quotes are funn.

Not in the least. People are people. If I hated Muslims for being Middle Easterners then it'd be hypocritical for me to get pissed off at people bashing me for being German.
Being from one certain race of people does not predetermine your aggressiveness or hatred towards others. You're just as likely to find a bomb-totting white/black/asian fellow as you are to find a Middle Eastern one.

    Dude i was kidding, chill.

God's not wrath-filled anymore, so back off.

And I'm not catholic, I shouldn't be offended, but i am as a human being. Priests are human too, they have human problems. Don't talk about Priests and people in those types of positions like they're supposed to be perfect. and who says every priest is like that?

Just relax, I meant no harm.

  • Alex Marlatt

Yea. God's not wrath-filled. He just likes to ruin lives for fun.
Can we get back to the topic. We've digressed enough.

  • the song writer

Alex, God cause bad things to happen to people, I already said this, multiple times.

    whats a soothsayer?

  • the song writer

    "doesn't"

  • Alex Marlatt

Yea, but if he's all powerful then he has the power to stop bad things from happening. He controls everything supposedly.

Soothsayer is a religious figure who tried to predict the future.

  • the song writer

    Ahhh like a prophet?

oh and God does stop bad things, just not in our "worldly" realm, I already explained this in another forum, i don't want to explain it again, it takes forever.

    but yah

    soothsayers sound like they're queer-folk

    CS Lewis queer, not gay-queer

  • Alex Marlatt

Oh and how do you know he stops bad things in this 'other-worldly' realm? Why does he not give a rats ass about this one eh? And I'm not going to search through fifty religious topics to find your argument. Either post it here or forget about it.

OK you know what End this right now,
i do not want to see hate build up between the two of you.

  • Alex Marlatt

Alright. Sorry about that bro. Anyways. Like I said. No I wouldn't hate someone for ethnicity. The only time I would hate anybody is if they did something to harm me or more importantly someone I love.

I wouldn`t fear you , you have gentle eyes. I can understand however why you would ask that,a lot of people are afraid since 911 but I refuse to live in fear that would mean they accomplished what they set out to do. You can`t judge all by what a few did.

No, I don't have any fear of Middle Eastern people at all. I know a few and their very nice and kind =) Besides, you have kind, caring eyes and a kind smile ^_^ I think us people in the USA need to be more afraid of ourself's then anyone else since, to me at least, we're the monsters lols We're the ones going over to the Middle East and pretty much taking over when you didn't ask for our help and continuing the hatred when we should be forgiving and trying to put an end to the war =P Now, I'm not saying that all of my own people are monsters, just the ones in power that could stop this.
    Peace,
    Rhea

You ladies are so seet =)

and from my point of view bout US people about everyone in this planet

    Take off our skin,
See?? we are no different. we all have hearts so is on us to love not hate.

  • silvershoes

Politics of Identity Vs. Politics of Identification. We should be able to tolerate, respect, and honor our differences, while still realizing our similarities and that we are all ONE thing: Humans. Let's live in harmony, eh?

  • Beauty In The Breaking

Lols Thank you for thinking we're sweet =)

Your right, we should all be able to look beyond the color of our skin or the way we talk and see that we're all the same underneath, we all have hearts and feel the same things, we all have souls and will be held accountable for what we do, there's no real huge difference between races other than the wrapping so to say lols A lot of the worlds problems, as far as I see it, would be solved if people realized that.

    Nuh:

Being of arabian origin doesn't mean you'll kill everyone...You need to come to terms with your own identity, because from the looks of it...It seems you are ashamed of your heritage...

Because if you were proud or secure with the fact that you're arab, you wouldn't be writing this thread...

Accept yourself, only then will other people accept who you are.

  • Nuh

Ok why in the world would i be ashamed?

Middle Easterners in general -no, I noticed on my bus the arab (lebonese kids were the only ones to give up there seats to the elderly on the crowded bus) not the local kids.

I wouldn't want to visit a middle eastern country as I fear some of there attitudes to the gay community which I am part of. In Iran I think they execute (hang) queers.

Ive got muslim friends but I found in the old chat room on here that some middle easterners disappeared as soon as they found out I was gay?

You personally I have no idea, fact that your on a poetry site calms me, your picture I admit I would be a little careful. But in context I was knocked unconcious by a male recently and I have lost alot of trust as a result

  • Mo

Well... I must have been SOOO gay the other day when I saw this person walk into a sign... I laughed my ass off. But then I still had time to walk up to them and ask them if they were ok and we laughed together over it. T'was pretty funny.

Tasteless - you have cutting poems??? But you're so logical and reasonable and sensible usually... I wouldn't have guessed it.

I don't fear you at all. I don't like those people who judge some one by the cover. I have an uncle who is black and white a mix and people make fun of him a lot but he just LOL at them for doing it. I would never fear you at all.
